Rear lights and touch sceen looks much more better on the 2020 version😊
The only difference i can notice here is the bigger infotainment screen on the 2024 model

The 8.5 exterior looks worse. It would have been ideal to just fix/update the poor user experience in the interior - and keep the exterior relatively the same.

Front design is bad for me
do you mean the new model?
The non Rline model 2024 has a horrible front bumper compared to the 2020 non R front bumper, also the front lights with a doble projector looks far better then the single projector in the 2024 model.
The only positive thing is they removed the fake exhaust from the rear bumper.
Basically is a design downgrade that makes the golf 8.5 looks uglier than the original mk8 design.
