I am a Mac guy trying to figure out why my OBS app is crashing on Vbox. I know it's not a good idea to have a memory intensive app on a virtual machine, but it was working for what I wanted it to do and with updates it crashes, I installed a new VM and with a clean slate it works. Now I can hopefully do a few things with knowledge of watching things in task manager to try to avoid crashes. I still don't recommend it to much (LOL)for anything serious, but I have it mind that I can do a few things for fun! Thank You Sir!

My cpu was in 100% usage...I did what you said and now it dropped to 40%
the turning off background intelligence worked for me, it's more silent now and it's weird because I'm used to loud fan lmao

There's nothing worse than having things running in the background without your notice,
but when your looking for help with an issue make sure the video your looking for actually addresses your issues. because one time my laptop was having some kind of slowdown and lag, which can affect alot of things like recording gameplay or livestreaming. The playback was slow and choppy, it didn't look that playing the game, but you can't see what's going on.
well I ended up doing something that made the situation worse, luckily a guy I know helped me fix the issue. but just some friendly advice,
if your not sure what something does look it up first, if it's an app that's easy to deal with, but when it's something else that's where you need to do some research. I learned the hard way.

No go. The CPU usage is very high in idle mode. But if I disconnect it from the internet, the CPU problem stops. Reconnect to the internet, and the problem is back, even though both the "Received" and "Sent" bytes are pretty well at a complete stand still. So I access the Task Manager. As soon as it is active, the CPU problem stops, so I can't see what it was that was over active. Then, what ever it is, it eventually shuts down the Task Manager and starts the CPU problem all over again.

I need help i have intel i5 9400 processor with 2.9GHz and i know its not that good but still i have a problem that every thing is taking up too much cpu space like i open task maneger and my cpu is on 30%????and so goes for other aplications what should i do?
My base speed for the CPU is 1.9
When I plug in the charger it goes to 4.5 or above is it supposed to happen because just by plugging in it overheats in 30 seconds

my notebook keeps oscillating the cpu use. like it is normally 10% and then it goes to like 50 or 60 and everything freezes, than it goes back to 10. can't play games and watch classes, everything keeps freezing. please if anyone knows how to fix this, please help

SOS!!!!!!! Needed help please!!!!.. I have a Toshiba Satellite A205. The problem is I dont know its just when I charge it (New charger) when its open the laptop hangs and the worst case is it glitches.... When I charge it while its close and opens it it would never open.... Same issue with the old charger I thought the charger was the problem but it is not. I dont think that itis the battery either because when I removed the battery nd charges my laptop it doesnt open. But you can see on the indicator that the laptop is charging.. Please help me resolve this. This is my only laptop ang uses it for online studies.

Bro i bought a new gpu from amazon which is 1660 ti

The cpu is i3 3210 at 3.2 ghz clock

I don’t have many issues since I’ve restarted windows. But there is a thing that bothers me very.
It pops up while playing GTAV on FiveM. Just there, on every other games no problems, even on high settings.
The message ‘’Low system performance detected. Windows API took long recently and led to a game stutter. ‘’ Thats very annoying dinc it happens only me playing on fivem.

Ive had my PC getting high CPU usage and heating up to max if i play something more than 720p and fullscreen, since before the covid-19 even hit, if i try to reset the PC using the keep my files option, it will not mess with c and d disks right? The normal temp is literally around 53c and its supposed to be like that when im playing a game, not when im not doing anything...its so annoying
If you reset your system with keeping your files the disc will be reset with most of your files only personal files like your account name or if you have an antivirus it will keep it but if you have games resetting the pc will delete them
some settings say “ some of these settings are hidden or managed by your organisation” pls help me fix that 🥺

I'm playing assassin's Creed unity. when I play the game the cpu usage is always 100%.I have a i5 3470 with gtx 970.I tried setting the game graphics to the lowest but there is no difference.The distance scaling is weird due to that reason.Can you tell me how to fix that

so theres apps that keep running in the background but they arent actully running how do i make it so they stop running in the background and wasting my memory
Wow I think High Performance power plan might have saved me. Won't know until Cold War reinstalls tho since I jumped the gun and tried that first. I'll tell you what though, Windows 10 has been the biggest pain in my rear since Windows Vista. I prefer some things about Vista actually

The ideal temperature for playing is between 65 : 85 degrees so don't worry
If your laptop is bugging/hanging then it's a problem or else don't worry
Very usefull info, however my idle cpu usage is 100% high usage apps change.... apps such as google chrome on facebook will have a high%... then itll change to another app ud expect to be low usage... but the top part constantly says 100%
