Don't think you needed these calvings to know you're a good farmer! We all know it from watching you videos
Is he shite a good farmer, take RUclips income out of the business and he’ll see how inefficient the farm is
Tom give yourself a break. With all that's happened in the last 2-3 months I'm surprised you didn't hit 30%. So well done. Give Jo & Harvey our love 💖💖💖
Ahhh thanks you so much :D Really nice comment
Something farmers find it so hard to do. We inflict a lot of pressure on ourselves.
Tom your not a loser, a passionate farmer yes. Hope Jo is on the mend. Until the next one stay safe
You're*
I spy a Malone front mower on the background
I have no idea what your talking about....
While commenting on the fact that "he needs to do some tractor videos" 😄
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣@@TomPembertonFarmLife
Just watched the video was about to say the exact same thing lol
Nah bro u saw a horse trailer and something with green and yellow on it. might as well be a reflection in the window from the hedge 🤔
Tom, this past year is not a regular year to judge your stats by….what with Jo, the new baby, all of the construction, replacing the bull, etc. Give yourself a break and wait until things calm down a bit for a true stat to judge by. You’re doing just fine by our standards❤❤❤❤
Tom you will always be the best farmer in the world everyone makes mistakes at work but as long as you learn from it you will never do it again thanks for the great video
Tom, if your cows 🐄 are happy, healthy, and having a good rest in your barn. It is the best that you did. So no matter what you said, you did a great job. Do not say it anyway else. You are a good farmer.
Absolutely 🎉🎉🎉
I can’t wait to see precious Harvey! Tom, I have watched you a while now. Don’t know much about farming, but you are an excellent farmer!!!!
This video had a lot of educational value for non-farmers. I would dare say quite a few did not know the cows eat the after birth. Provides nutrition to the cow, and is an evolutionary adaptation. Helps remove the scent of birth, helping to lessen chances of detection by predators.
I am by no means a farmer or even a country type, having lived and grown up within Nottingham City, but I have spent a lot of time around farms when I was younger as those were most of our holidays, plus I am an engineer so numbers are always good, especially when they have meaning and help to explain what is going on. Thumbs up on this one from me.
I like data and numbers so this video shows what your work/cost benefits are and whether you have been successful. Yes, I would say you did a fine job considering the stress on both the team and the heifers and what a whirlwind year you have been experiencing.
Tom, you are a wonderful farmer, you have weathered, the Bale, the creation of a parlour, becoming a father, a wife who has been in and out of hospital and some truly awful weather conditions. You have faced all of that and not just survived but thrived. Give yourself a pat on the back. Give my best wishes to Jo, Harvey and the ginger guy. Love your videos they are a spark of joy and always make me wish I lived close enough to your farm to visit, however I am tucked away down in Kent. All the best and long may you continue to grow and prosper.
I love this time of year, Cows and Lambs, Spring is just around the corner. Thank you for showing this video.
I found it quite interesting. I love these videos, actually all your videos, they are honest and real
Glad you like them! :D
You are a good farmer, do not need a whiteboard to know that. Good video. Hope Jo and Garvey are doing well.
That front malone mowers looks nice
Hi Tom, I think you're doing just fine, you are a good farmer. Farming at best is an up and down business.
You have such a sweet mom!!! Hope Joanna is doing well and, of course Harvey!!!! Show us some Harvery footage!
I spy a front mower in the background when you where in the kitchen at the end, cant wait to see that on the Case
Respect for our farmers!
Just found you. where have i been? On another universe? Love what i have seen. I think you are a super dooper farmer. Really care about your animals. Well done. xx😃
Ahhh thank you ☺️
You are doing Great It shows in the look of the heard. I do like it when you bring out the charts. can you go slow and show how to use the calf wheel in the shed? Cheers Mate all the Best to the staff Mom,Ginger and always your Lady.
Wow! Tom do much hard work! Greetings from California
Tom your a good farmer, you are a caring person for your family, animals and great teacher, learnt alot about farming
You proved you're a great farmer, just by analyzing and looking at the numbers! It's all a learning experience, you've not done the straw method before right? So even just getting half is really great! I never noticed the difference in body type before but now that you mentioned it you're absolutely right.
I really hope Jo is feeling better and Harvey is doing OK!
Those calving jacks are awesome!
You're doing a grand job Tom give yourself a pat on the back and the rest of the team 👏👍. All the best to Joe ❤
You did amazing Tom and thats why we love watching you 😊
Leasons learned is not a loss !
Working with 5 year old granddaughter on the frustration of not always being perfect !
Such an unbelievable amount of respect and admiration for you Tom. Haven’t watched all the vid yet , but whatever the results are the most important things in life are family , health and happiness. It dosent matter if you made more or less than last year. You work yourself so hard (too hard if you ask me) and you should rest assured knowing that you’re doing more than enough
You're doing a good job Tom! Don't let missing 60% get to you, especially considering this was the first time trying a new method and it's with a small group. As you dial in your procedures and have a larger number of cows for data, the numbers should improve.
Placentophagy (postpartum consumption of afterbirth) occurs in many species of mammals for several reasons beyond nutrition, one being instinctual to keep from attracting predators to the birth site or nest. More recently it's been discovered that placenta (and amniotic fluid) contains elements that are natural opiod enhancers, and increase pain threshold.
Love and hugs to Jo. Hope she's better soon.
Thank you. That's really interesting to know. I knew about the predator thing, but increasing the pain threshold is new to me.
THANK YOU .. TP FOR ALL YOU DO ASSISTING THE DELIVERY PROCEDURES ❤ 🙏🇺🇸🇬🇧🙏
And you are going to treat Joanna wonderfully hehehe
Excellent video as always your a great farmer tom thats why i watch your videos was nice to bump into you, jo and harvey in town the other saturday .
Always find your video's interesting Tom, new nothing about farming till I found your channel been watching for sometime now and still love it👍
You're doing a great job Tom
Sending healing prayers for Jo. Sending happiness and health for all of you. Thank you for sharing with all of us. ❤️🙏💐💗🖤🤍🤎🐄
That wooden spoon pointing is LEGENDERY!!!
Love this type of videos, anything about breeding.❤
Great video Tom, very interesting and well explained, but we already knew you are a great farmer with a great team around you.
Thank you for sharing, this part of the cows and your life.
Great video - I learned so much! I loved seeing the data and how it all costed out. It’s a small sample size. Gathering more data will give you both more practice in the method and more accurate results statistically.
Nicely said Tom, I like it when it gets technical
I enjoy seeing how you show how you do your experiences with your farming and breading. Thanks for sharing 👍
Great to see your Mum making a brief appearance.
Of course you are a good RUclips farmer.😊
So nice to see calving vids❣️
Hope you can put out more of them soon❣️🐄
100% best farmer , the love and passion radiates through you and the whole farm .
More of these type of videos please. Next level.
Great video you work so hard and Luke is a star and a hard worker
Good on you, my son!
Cheers from rainy Northern California!!! 👋
I’m impressed at your pulling those calves by yourself! I think you’re a GREAT farmer!! ❤
Very well explained Tom, great to understand the kind of things you're thinking about with the herd
Great video Tom and interesting as well 👏👏👍👍
Nice front Malone mower Tom, great video as always
Tom, the fact that you look after ur cows so good makes u a fantastic farmer.
You are a great farmer and a great Dad
You’re a great farmer Tom!
The education you provide from opening up to the world proves that.
On a side note is that a Malone front mower I see through the kitchen window????
Your awesome. A million miles away from just a farmer also. Inspirational to pick one word out of many. Keep it up. Much love to you and all your family ❤
Great explanation and video👏❤️
IS TOM A GOOD FARMER? As i too am a farmer i think you are amazing. The care you put into your girls shows on every video you have posted, the hours you put in and everything you do is for the best interest of ur girls. Facts and numbers are interesting to see improvements or where u can improve next time but it dont mean ur a good/bad farmer 😎
I loved the video and found it very interesting. Hope you do more like this. I really enjoy how you show us what your looking for cost and time wise. I appreciate your honesty of pros and cons and if you thought it was worth it and if it’ll be used in future planning. 👋 Hello Mrs. Pemberton ❤. Tom you are a great farmer! ❤❤
Great Video Tom it was fun see the cows watch you pull that calf out.
You're a brilliant farmer Tom, the care and welfare you show to not only your animals but those that work and for those around you is 5 Star. 👍
Great video!
You are a great farmer. Great job
Great video !! Nice calves !! Your a great Farmer!! Keep it up !!
I really enjoyed this video, and I do think you’re an excellent farmer. I love seeing you work with the cattle that is such a personal thing and you do have one that’s a little skittish, but I think that that will diminish in time I hope so. Thank you so much for this video.
Excellent video very informative Tom 🤜🏼⚡️🤛🏼
Thanks!
You have done fantastic.
Best of luck with everything on the farm there now 👍👍👍
I think this is a very good video. You answered a few questions I always had about fiscal viability.
Hi Tom love the videos thanks for doing them have I just seen a melone front mounted mower next to the horse box hope so looking forward to seeing how that goes
Brilliant video
Great video and a lot of extra work involved in getting it together. Honestly don't know how you are able to do all of this making me wish I was 20 years younger just to have your kind of energy
You are a brilliant farmer , father and hubby. What you achieve puts a lot of us to shame. X❤
Good farmer. Love the baby calf videos
14:32 I was always told the cow eating cleanings was a good thing. She looses a lot of minerals and some vitamins through the calving process and that is a natural way to get them back.
Hiii, sorry if i interrupted the conversation, I was listening for a minute and I just wanted to say that I know that I know none of you but I am here and praying for everyone here. ❤ 😊 much love
Loved this Video! Thanks Tom! You're still my favourite farmer - 50% or otherwise.
Great video Tom, loved it . What is not to like about calving time? Thanks . 😊
I like the new front mower . Good job with AI the heifers
THIS is the content we want, Only thing missing was graphs, when you assess the new parlour - we want graphs - they can be drawn in marker - thats good. -or drawn on the ground in selco and silage, or projected on the slurry tank - but graphs please
Interesting video Tom
Tomas a pointer for you is to try and calve your cows and heifers no little calves in the calving pen or even near by. Why, because the animal calving won’t keep her mind on calving if a little baby is in the pen. The animal will concentrate on her delivery and not waste time plus do it quicker! Very important on hard deliveries as like for a heifer they don’t fatigue to soon and most of the time have it themselves! Clean fluffy bedding is also half the notion for mother to put forth her baby.
Great video 👍
My opinion is that you're a GOOD farmer.
Hi Tom, because of all what you created in the last 12 months you can be proud of yourself! You‘re a damned good farmer!
Love ❤ and greetings to you and your loved ones from a Grannie in Germany 😊
Great vid Tom! Goes to show... the bull takes a bit of beating ;) Well done mate - that percentage will come up in time!
Love the new calves 🥰
Great job Tom. It will become more profitable with volume. You're a good farmer. We like that.
Tom you are really good farmer you guys knowing on how to get the job done,
really interesting! your a great farmer
really interesting insight thanks
Fantastic video you really need a calfing gate best thing we got 👏
you did well Tom with all that's going on. Don't mind cows eating their cleansing either - but not when i am having my breakfast!😲
Another good one Tom informative and interesting. Presumably the aa calves would be polled to be able to distinguish between the two?
Love that little Ayrshire drop. She's gorgeous.
Can't wait to see the front mower in action
Hi to your Mum.
I think you did great. 5 out of 6 ... awesome. 50% is outstanding.
Dont be so hard on yourself.
It's wonderful you help feed & care for Harvey.
Out of 4 kid's .. my husband only feed our oldest when i was at work., but 0% when i was recovering from their C-sections. You're a keeper. 🥰
That was really interesting thanks Tom. Top farmer I'd say.
Thanks
