    Good video & content of a very efficient farm dairy! I believe its your gimbal that is constantly in the bottom right of the shot, perhaps a different setting on your camera is required to avoid this in future videos?

      No, it's not a product, it's a process called "freeze branding", normally done by contractors using liquid nitrogen and non-ferrous branding irons (oops, and hair shavers).

      @@Grasstecgroup why do you have to milk a lot cows to be a good farmer, do u not understand lads with 50 100 cows work far harder because their a one man show and do everything with very little help

      @@michaeldorn5330 it’s nothing to do with size Michael, there is fantastic farms of all sizes, we are just trying to show lots of different setups with different ideas on how to do things. We want our videos to have something for everyone.

    I would have hated to be doing the same job even if they swap every couple of hours. Loved working with cows but just cleaning or putting on would have been mind numbing. Fair play to those that do it.

    Great video! Very interesting can’t believe they milking about 1700 with just 72 units just goes to show how effective the whole system is!! Farmers milking ALOT less and spending too much time in the parlour 🙄

  • @dulcehomen3655

    I don’t care for the way the crowd gate is designed. You need to be very careful that a cow doesn’t get her head in between the rails and gets jammed as the gate advances

    • @danbrewer
      @danbrewer Год назад

      Yep I have seen this type of gate go wrong twice. Not a pretty sight

    • @mememachine5244
      @mememachine5244 Год назад

      Tbh given how the guy described an electric motor as hydraulic twice I don't think they have the foresight to see that.
      Can easily see a cow getting her head stuck, you know given this type of farm encourages them to put their heads between railings.

  • @Northernman68

    How long does it take from the time a cow steps on till stepping off?

    • @jamestatham9950
      @jamestatham9950 Год назад

      Good question, I don't know, but I know they can vary the speed of it!

    • @jamestatham9950
      @jamestatham9950 Год назад +2

      Doing some quick maths, if there Doing 400 an hour and its 72 stall I make it about 10.5 mins for a full rotation!

    • @randykline2575
      @randykline2575 Год назад +1

      He stated that at about the 3/4 mark the cows are done being milked and the machines drop off so roughly 7 1/2 minutes the machines will be on.
