- In this video we will take a look at how to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo with the E-Gear Transmission.
I'll go over some of the details, hints and tips for using the vehicle to include the E-Gear system, lack of cruise control, steering, paddle shifting and more.
The vehicle being used is my 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo in Verde Ithaca paint.

My favorite Lambo. Just have to love those taillights. Robert Himlers twin turbo Gallardo is what made me appreciate these things so much. RIP Robert Himler.

Still one of favorite lambos to date, when I was a kid I always wanted a convertible one. I just love how minimal it looks for a modern lambo and there’s no new lambo like it.

I love my Pre-LP Superleggera. The 5.0 is a beautiful sounding engine!!! Also, the third button on center console is the traction control. The third button you pushed is actually for slippery roads. The traction control is the ESP button which is next to the fuel release button. Awesome video.....

No, just downshift back to 1st gear if you come to a complete stop
No you don’t have to.
Depends how long you are sitting, after sitting still for 10 seconds will automatic go into neutral

To optimaze like all us do in south florida (no emission checks here) first step ditch the stock exhaust and rear cats, i run a Klien Innovation exhaust high pitched sound like an aventador , very driveable, no droning, by going to this exahuast reduced the weight directly over the rear wheels by about 75lbs (stock exhaust is crazy heavy) huge difference in throttle response and picked up about 20HP and shoots beautiful blues flames!
I really like the Gallardo and wanted to know how much would a 2001 -2009 cost.
They didn't start making them til 2004 to 2013.

Dude as an owner of multiple Gallardo's you already missed the first step, when you open the door the hydraulic pump for egear runs for a few seconds-you do not hear it you are not going anywhere but ok. Also you left how to really drive it, you baby it with low revs shift and will do far more damage than high rev shifts-should be shifting 4K RPM min.
