Hi Nick, great video. I understand this conceptually but any examples on how to pitch this to the client via email? Any templates that you can provide?
Nick! Quick question, if you are doing event videos for a big company, how would you go about a package. I’m just confused because most the time their events are at random dates. What if they don’t have any events for one of the months they have signed for? Do they still pay?
$3-5k a month ? Please enlighten me. I would understand that for corporate but some smaller businesses have trouble throwing $800. Perhaps I’m not looking in the right area
You are right my friend. Here is the thing with smaller businesses... As you already say, smaller businesses are smaller, less revenue means less media budget they can spend. So if that's the case they don't have budget for videos or just not much. Compared to big businesses, some of them have 200k+ media budget a year because the company does already 10 mio a year, what's 10k for them? So focus on bigger companies and you will get bigger paydays. Hope that helps :-)
Good question! Generally you ask the client FIRST what budget they have for the project and then evaluate what you can do for the money, not the opposite way of: We have 8x events what do you charge. This way you always get a bette price. Also price depends on your location/country and other stuff, hard to just drop a random price. You may share more details. Better on Instagram, I will reply faster :-)
just closed my first client thanks to this guy!
You're a legend! Congrats!
This is exactly what I'm pitching my clients! Great video
Perfect!

same thing as before. Firm on the goals of the company. Events may be random but it's contingent upon the contract.
Negotiating a retainer with a client 🤔

@@iamnickmetzger thanks so much Nick!
For event video retainers, what would I charge for 8 events/ 1 minute highlight videos a year? This is a Tequila company. Thanks a lot.
