- Comedian Austin Anderson joins us again - as does comedian Yoshi Obayashi, who gives his first-hand experiences attending the Donald Trump defamation trial and the Sam Bankman-Fried trial. He also visited the site of Jeffrey Epstein's home in Palm Beach, which has since been demolished. The guys go on to discuss the connection between the 9/11 hijackers and Palm Beach County, and Crispin attends the Sundance Film Festival.

So first off, I love the show guys. I watch ever episode. So I say this constructively. You guys don't understand the SBF situation. FTX was designed as a scam. It was no mistake, or failed attempt at philanthropy. I'd recommend attempting to have Ben Armstrong (formerly BitBoy crypto) as a guest if you want to go in on the topic. He literally wrote the book. He's also a generally entertaining guy with a HUGE audenience. He's just coming out of a controversy. People are watching what he says extra closely as a result .

I'm someone who's very anti-Trump. Never voted for him, and won't this year. I'm voting whomever the Libertarian Party nominates. So I'm certainly not defending him or supporting him in any way.
That said, the E. Jean Carroll trial, is a bigger issue I think we really need to fix in this country. We should not be trying criminal acts in civil court. As was alluded to in this video, the bar for civil court is simply "more likely than not," where criminal court is "beyond a reasonable doubt."
We all know of many people who've been wrongly convicted in criminal court with it's very high bar, so imagine how many people have wrongly lost in civil court. This practice is merely a way to "get" someone when prosecutors know they can't get the evidence needed to convict them in criminal court.
Criminal court is for crimes. Civil court is for monetary disagreements, like contract violations, and other non-violent acts. We really need tort reform in this country, specifically removing any civil suit that's related to a criminal act, but that does not first have a criminal conviction. If there's no criminal conviction. There should not be civil damages awarded related to the crime. How can someone be not-guilty but still be liable. This makes absolutely no sense.
This current system is basically legalized extortion.
Either way, people should understand Trump's loss does not mean he was convicted of rape or assault. He wasn't convicted of anything. It only means a jury believes he probably did it, and therefore owes Carroll money.

51:50 Maybe it’s because I work for a company in a blue-collar industry, but our Millennials are all VERY hard-working. Not one of them exhibits entitlement, to the point that they’re sometimes surprised at the things included in their employment package. We have one Gen Z kid, and he has a bit of the entitlement, but it comes off as more of a misinterpretation of behaving for the job you want. Stuff like schmoozing with clients as if he’s a crew chief when he’s our greenest guy. I get the hustle, but he still has a lot to learn and should focus on that instead.
