As someone who's lived just outside Seattle for 40 years the only surprise to me about Jim's show getting cancelled on Capitol Hill was that Capitol Hill even pretended to allow comedy to begin with. For anyone unfamiliar, Capitol Hill was not just where CHOP/ CHAZ was, but it's always been a place where a lot of people in the LGBTQ community have lived. They didn't congregate on Capitol Hill to push their lifestyle on people either, if anything they just wanted to be left alone. It used to basically be gay people and heroin addicts on Capitol Hill.
Over the past 20 years rich Leftist tech workers have been moving to Capitol Hill and with it brought militant "progressive" values. You couple militant, rich progressives with this new entitled LGTBQ community, and you create an environment where tolerance is not tolerated. I'm straight but used to party on Capitol Hill often because the bars and clubs were fun. Now with all the crime and overt Leftism I avoid Seattle as a whole like the plague.
