Very good film, I love quality films with new faces, excellent soundtrack, pacing was solid but relied on very fortuitous happenstances, action sequences were smooth and innocently exciting, acting was big budget delivery, ending was clean and surprisingly fresh and gutsy given the current times. Really enjoyed it. Will watch again and recommend to others.
This movie isn't terrible but it could have been so much better without the orchestra music throughout pretty much the entire movie. It got old real quick.

I liked the movie, i give it a 6 out 10. I would give it a 7 out of 10, if it wasn`t for the fact that it looked like a second director did the filming after the train scene. It just looked kind off for some reason. The music editing was spot on. Someone did a good job with the special effects. I honestly think the androids should have been cut. This much better then the sci fi series the vagrant queen which is bad. Wow that was bad, a much deserved 2 out 10.
I found it a really stupid movie, with some catholic superstition propaganda inside, too! The highly evolved aliens go around naked, walking on the ground, and it is not clear why. The aliens implant a chip to track down the "chosen ones" kidnapped in the past, but it is not clear why, and, above all, it is not clear why they do not use them to track them down when they would really need to, but send an encrypted signal that only one person in the world can decipher An unworthy crap

the movie is better than the preview. I was skeptical from seeing the preview.. Decided to watch it for 10 to 15 mins, and ended up watching the whole thing, Free of course, compliments of popular websites.

Strange film that at times feels like a mash up of a John Hughes movie and a late '70's sci Fi tv show. Some of the music is a little grating on the ear drums but on the whole the film surprisingly works. It's definitely unique.
Spoilers: We clearly saw dude record video of the UFO "crashing" then hovering over the forest. Why is he only showing and uploading video of the alien afterwards? If you were actually smart and you knew you had tracking devices in people, wouldn't you force the tagged people to go miles away BEFORE deactivating the devices? All these idiots did is mark where they must have met up with whoever they were looking for. If old dude knows how to deactivate trackers, why not let him have tech to monitor for them himself. Then he'd know the abductees were coming, could intercept them in the town, deactivate them there and avoid allowing the agency from knowing EXACTLY where his hideout is? If a secret organization had an army of robot police, and they are tracking you, why would they only send two? If those two got destroyed, but you know the train the subjects are on, why aren't you just waiting at the next station? Does it make sense that the robot police use facial recognition and not the tracking devices to identify their suspects? Nothing urgent going on - alien removes tracking device from girls arm in less than 10 seconds. Bad guys shooting everyone - alien takes 5 minutes to take tracking device out of boy's arm. Does nothing to stop people from getting killed. I know they can heal them, but why make people go through dying in the first place? How's this for logic: I found the only guy who I think knows where my father is. Ahh... what the heck... kill him! Just to seem to be epic (hey Ridley Scott can do it) why throw in Jesus and then screw it up? If they were abducting people all this time they could have asked them who Jesus was a long before this. Also, the big question they wanted answered is "what is his name?" Why not just make it that all the abductions were to identify who had the strongest genetic link to Jesus and discount DJ Qualls is basically Neo? They kind of did but it was so poorly done that I don't think that came across. Maybe have each of the people in the cabin genetically linked to key figures like Santa the lumber jack could be John the Baptist, discount Kristin Kreuk could be Mary Magdalene, discount Russell Brand could be Simon of Cyrene, and discount Thomas Kretschmann could be Pontius Pilot. I mean if you're gonna make it about something, go all in. Don't just throw it in to add faux-gravitas. Biggest question: Why go to the trouble to make a movie and not think through the insulting lack of logic in parts of your story that could be so easily fixed?

Wow...from the trailer it looked interesting. So I watched it. The first 10 mins was intriguing. After that it just got strange and then ridiculous. The old cliche government scientists with old 80's looking computer panels with lights blinking like it was from Lost in Space. The well suited dressed agents with silver sunglasses the lazer guns. Then the white room with weird looking Star Wars Imperial soldiers who look like they are on acid. It took a big turn from a UFO alien abduction to a government conspiracy coverup. Was this movie suppose to be a serious or a parody? Seriously it looked like some 80's network style science fiction quality.
When the alien wanted to know who Jesus was I busted out laughing because thats when I realized this was some kind of hokey anti-government religious garbage.
The Contrarian yeah the first 10 15 mins. I was in it. Then it just got strange then it just got weird with the sit down thing with the alien ambassador then the Jesus thing. Aliens for Jesus should have been the title.
I had to watch the scene like 3 times with the captions on ... I thought the whole jesus thing was silly at first too , but I soon realized that they didn't see jesus the same way we viewed him ... they saw him the way we should have been seeing him all along .. That was the whole point .
By far the worst sci-fi movie I’ve seen in a long time and I’ve seen my fair share.. Saying that it did have a good start the story was unfolding it looked in too the shape of our society how people can easily be dismissed etc but then it drastically turns into a disaster the plot has so many hole’s and don’t get me started with droids and this secret organisation with there ray guns. This could have been so much better if didn’t try too copy so many sci-fi films in the past. Shame
Not sure how i missed this.....i assumed it would be a bad B-Grade movie but it was actually really quite cool! Unless you're a bit of a UFO/ET buff, you might not like it... It's a bit cheesy....but I really enjoyed it! I think it's a positive message too. Whether aliens have visited and or contacted us or whether it's something that might happen in the future, HOW we act if we meet _them_ is something to think about and the worst thing that could happen is governments or military industrial complex gets involved....
It was the most clumsily cramming of suprise-jesus-freak methodology I have ever seen in a movie. So, so juvenile. That's the thing with the whackadoole religious freaks. Wow...from the trailer it looked interesting. So I watched it. The first 10 mins was intriguing. After that it just got strange and then ridiculous. The old cliche government scientists with old 80's looking computer panels with lights blinking like it was from Lost in Space. The well suited dressed agents with silver sunglasses the lazer guns. Then the white room with weird looking Star Wars Imperial soldiers who look like they are on acid. It took a big turn from a UFO alien abduction
to a government conspiracy coverup. Was this movie suppose to be a serious or a parody? Seriously it looked like some 80's network style science fiction quality.
When the alien wanted to know who Jesus was I busted out laughing because thats when I realized this was some kind of hokey anti-government religious garbage.
The Contrarian yeah the first 10 15 mins. I was in it. Then it just got strange then it just got weird with the sit down thing with the alien ambassador then the Jesus thing. Aliens for Jesus should have been the title.
I had to watch the scene like 3 times with the captions on ... I thought the whole jesus thing was silly at first too , but I soon realized that they didn't see jesus the same way we viewed him ... they saw him the way we should have been seeing him all along ..

By far the worst sci-fi movie I’ve seen in a long time and I’ve seen my fair share.. Saying that it did have a good start the story was unfolding it looked in too the shape of our society how people can easily be dismissed etc but then it drastically turns into a disaster the plot has so many hole’s and don’t get me started with droids and this secret organisation with there ray guns. This could have been so much better if didn’t try too copy so many sci-fi films in the past. Shame

Not sure how i missed this.....i assumed it would be a bad B-Grade movie but it was actually really quite cool! Unless you're a bit of a UFO/ET buff, you might not like it... It's a bit cheesy....but I really enjoyed it!
I think it's a positive message too. Whether aliens have visited and or contacted us or whether it's something that might happen in the future, HOW we act if we meet _them_ is something to think about and the worst thing that could happen is governments or military industrial complex gets involved....

Escape to costa rica then British Columbia type witch mountain kind of movie. Lol. Sooo the movie is alright, sorta entertaining. Acting is mediocre especially the silly bots and secret agents . If you can get pass that and the cinematic score.. you know the background music they play, then you’re golden.
The background music is cheesy at some points and a lil over the top to the point it does not match the film or goes with it. Not sure how the hell this got pass production but maybe the person in charge of editing, directing and choosing the music where all the same person lol. Anyway, If you have nothing to do and just want to kick back and donate a few bucks and eat some good food, then this is a good movie to chill back to . I have 30 minutes left in the movie ., have fun .
Personal opinion, the background music is just overplayed. Totally some in scene is not necessary.

Main character said he was kidnapped by very secret people but they are walking and riding bikes around Costa Rica dressed like stars wars storm troopers, the movie seems very silly with them dressed like that.
