I noticed a bunch of sound tests come out for the F2-84 recently, are these like prototypes that were sent out or did the GB already happen and people are getting their units now?
Geon is really killing the designs. Hoping I can get my hands on one one day

Damn this is the best f2 uvr ever heard wtf? Are those blue bonnet seitches that loud? Usually the f2 isn't that loud lol.

I have this Board with MX Black Switches. Souds very good too.

Sorry @Alexotos, you installed the oring and plate wrong.The plate is not mounted correctly if the gaskets keep popping out. There should be enough plate downward pressure when pushing the oring in. That means your JST cable is not fully seated in the channel.
Try this:
Don’t NOT attach the JST cable to the PCB
push JST cable into channel until flush
Now try laying the plate onto the bottom case
Is it flat now?
Try to push an oring gasket to see the difference

Which one do you prefer between F2 and F1? Also any significant distinction on sound and feel between the two? I know you mentioned F1 is bouncier, but is it by great margin? Would really like your inputs! Thanks

If you're extremely lucky and manage to get one on extras sale, maybe. Otherwise no: it was highly limited group buy.

But what happened with the acoustics of the f2 ? Idk, it really sounds not the same as f1. Like ,more hollow

Can’t say I’m a fan. Sounds too clicky. Maybe with a PC plate and some thockier switches
It grows on you. I didn’t like clacky sound signatures at first either but over time, I have come to appreciate and even now prefer them.
Thocky sound is about cheap plastic keebs
Classy clack - that’s what makes me act up
But at the end of the day - that all preference :)
