Thats what i avoided on the GTI Clubsport here. Finally got my full custom turbo back. Made it a non resonated Cobra Sport catback (kept the sport muffler in back) Then got a Invidia highflow downpipe with sport cat. Was afraid itd be too bassey for me, but it sounds Glorious in my op! And its crazy how the drone is even less than the original vw pipe, on this Invidia one! This is my "Maserati" now hehe! 😄

Just curious to know what’s your gas mileage like since you’ve been tuned ? And before hand?
Going from stock to stage1/2 i gained MPG as long as you stay out of the pedal easily 34mpg on highway

@@yacluck8343 I don't have any experience wth the automatic on the 1.8t when u get tunned make sure u service the transmission every 20 to 30 k depending on ur driving styles and go wth a colder spark plug

It’s pretty great here! Winter is cold, but the area is amazing. I have traveled all across the US and I just wouldn’t want to live anywhere else

What mod did you do?
same as the last mod update, stage 2
You can just bump shifter down when in the drive position and this will engage sport.
It will engage sport auto, my car requires it to be put in race mode to open valves.

Just a little too annoyingly loud but I guess for the kiddies under 25 it'll rock out but us older guys would that tiresome after a while. I prefer a 4" quad tips with a more deeper but less resonated note..
Pretty disappointing this is not a stick. It would be a totally different driving experience.

That’s 100% subjective. Dsg’s are some of the best transmissions. Don’t knock it til you drive one. I’ve owned a manual my whole til my golf R and I haven’t looked back
