Man, I love Jackie charakter development. She doesn't tell Hyde about her birthday, because she was trying to change herself for her and Hyde relationship.

Yes! And the way she was trying to be happy with it even though she didn't showed her development too, once she knew the significant of it then she genuinely loved it but she still had a really good attitude from the start. And she also seemed genuinely touched that he got her something.
i also like that hyde is pulling back the reigns on that a little here - like he likes that she's maturing and becoming less self centered but he wants her to know that she doesn't have to go as far as not telling him when its her birthday and that he still wants to give her a gift even if it wont be the kind of shallow consumerist presents that kelso would give her. i love whenever they meet in the middle like that.
Yeah. Worst choice the writers made was breaking them up to prolong the drama within the group.

In season 3 through 4 he was actually being a good boyfriend.

It is. Collar is so obnoxious though but it sticks right. Reminds of the Elvis DCU of the army. Desert Combat Uniforms. That had a double length collar, so you could raise up higher on your neck to block the sun from sun burns. While in the Desert regions. Most people would double fold them down and it would look ridiculous.

Why would they make her and Fez a thing 🤣😂... Let's say we are watching Harry Potter and there's all this foreshadowing of Ron and Hermione's relationship throughout 7 booka. They share that kiss in the chamber of secrets right in book 7 and BAM fast forward 19 years later and Hermione is married to... Ro- NOPE! Gotcha! It's Cormac Mclaggen the guy that harassed her all night at Slughorn's party!!
Jackie and fez was hinted at multiple times throughout the whole series. It was a bit butchered but it wasnt out of nowhere

they could have made Jay Fez and Jackie's kid or did the writers are like Mia Kunis and Kelso are married let's have them together instead of watching how Jackie and Fez got together in S8 not realizing that's like only story we have a shit about in S8
It's because the show got new writers in Season 8 and those writers didn't like Jackie and Hyde, even though it was a fan favourite relationship. They deliberately broke them up. One of the reasons the viewership dropped. The original writers, that were there for the first 7 seasons intended for Hyde and Jackie to be endgame. Even the actors were against that break up, especially Danny. It made no sense at all. Season 8 is trash according to general consensus. Many fans pretend Hyde and Jackie ended up together and don't watch past Season 7. That's why like 90% of the fan fiction around the show is about Jackie and Hyde through the years.
@@russkaismit always shocks me that they broke them up. first of all theyre the exact type of couple that fans of any show go crazy for, people looove that odd couple dynamic. and second of all with all the direct paralleling between their relationship and the one between red and kitty i was sooo convinced that they were just obviously going to be together at the end. so petty of the season 8 writers, even if they didnt like them as a couple it was literally the last season just suck it up, u dont even have to write any scenes of them together they can just be having a stable relationship in the background. its almost like having red and kitty get divorced in the final season and then having kitty and bob end up together in the second to last episode.
This is one of my favorite episodes.😅❤

Steven didn't forget she just never told him because she didn't want to be materialistic anymore! Kelso is the bad guy here, buying his ex-girlfriend a present and causing a rift between her and her new boyfriend!

@@annamargaretjordan9219 I disagree, and I don't like jumping onto the bandwagon just because a ship or something is popular. Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it is right. Hyde doesn't know how to please Jackie in the gift giving department. Plus they have different views on how to do life. Jackie should have taken that job offer. It's not like Hyde is a role model either.

that feels like a reach. he never bosses her about her clothing in any other scene, its just the one sweater specifically bc kelso is trying to use it to make him look bad. and she doesnt end up taking it off because he told her to but because she was also mad at kelso.
