I believe the writers killed the show when they split Jackie & Hyde. You could almost see that Eric & Donna weren't gonna last, too much trivial shit. But Jackie & Hyde's problems were more reality based and they overcame them till the writers brought in the pole dancer and put Jackie with fes. That just didn't make sense.
I've wondered if they didn't intentionally kill it. It could have hung on for a few more yrs without those two fuckups. Just my opinion. Sorry.

Most everyone knows a couple that met in high skool and got married. Actually i did that now that i think about it. It didn't last, 6 yrs, but we was married.
i love how everything is so natural between jackie and hyde, like they had their own world. makes me think Mila and Danny had a thing going on or they just really enjoy beingtogether on screen. its so cute

I think mila and ashton are great together but they did not have chemistry to me on the show. I’m sure it was her age which I understand but man he rand Danny... that can’t be fake
I think they just enjoyed being together on screen, and both loved their characters together. Some actors just have naturel chemistry, without being together irl. Besides didn't she have a crush on Ashton during the run.

Ever heard the song “greatest love story”? In my mind that’s how Hyde and Jackie happened. She went off to Chicago at the end of season 7 and did her thing. Hyde stayed in point place after seeing Jackie Chicago and they dated other people for a few years. and then she came back and they realized they still loved each other and they got married. The end. Lol. Hate that new writers were brought in for season 8 and destroyed the 7 seasons of work the other writers laid out for them.
Even when re watching the series I still don’t watch it. Season 7 was the end

Jackie and Hyde always felt like the truest relationship. Not just on this show, but on a lot of shows. The best relationships are ones where you're constantly challenging the other person and growing together. There's a line from This Means War that I love, "Don't choose the better guy, choose the guy that's going to make you a better girl." That's what Hyde and Jackie have. They make each other better people. I hated what happened in season 8, because they were meant to be together, but also because all of Hyde's character growth just evaporated and he went back to being an unfeeling jackass. I hope if they ever do a reunion that they retcon season 8. These two were meant for each other.

Wow, I never noticed all the little touches before. I was a casual viewer, so it's not surprising that there's a ton I missed, but I was a shipper for them pretty quickly. It's all the little touches, the way he messes with her shoe or hair, how she just reaches out to connect with his stomach and clothes, the little pecks to cheeks and hair, just all of the little affectionate moments that are just casually out there. Makes them even more shippable in my opinion.

I love that they were always outwardly affectionate with each other, even Hyde, whom you never thought as someone who would be like that. They couldn't keep their hands off each other, and not just in a sexual way. They were always touching in some way--holding hands, a kiss, Jackie in Hyde's lap, tousling her hair, arms around each other, etc. Even at 00:32, Hyde puts his hand on her thigh simply as a way to be connected with Jackie, to be lovingly touching her in some way. And it was so natural, they did it without thinking, and it wasn't a shock for either of them. They just loved each other so much they naturally expressed it all the time. Really beautiful.

I think those moments were Hyde's way of expressing how he felt, because he's well Hyde.

they actually did but it didnt las too long, so they stayed as friends. They had like a super sexual tension going on hahah (also Hyde was way older than her when they were filming That 70s Show)
Angelique Martínez Mila said that during the filming all her cast members felt so very old to her, since she was fourteen in the first season and they were all young adults I thinks. I don't think she had hots for anyone back then, she said once that Ashton was doing her homework for her or something :) But she and Danny did great on portraying Jackie and Hyde together. They felt really natural, even with being so different!

Not sure about real life dating but it was with Ashton she had a huge crush before during the show...but Danny x Mila acting out Hyde x Jackie is just so realistic and the sexual tension omfg and all the kisses touches and shiz looked so natural. Especially in this video where it's all clips of them where the scene is not about Hyde and Jackie. They are literally at the back or on the side... Amazing acting!!!(if it was really just acting)

oh my god! I'm only watching this show now and I love these two! Every time there's a scene with them in the background, my eyes automatically focus on them
I have always loved how these interact with each other even when they're not the focus point of the scene and they're really the only ones on the show who do that. don't get me wrong i like Donna and Eric together but they never really acted like that with each other. Jackie and Hyde should have ended up together and I'm still angry at the writers for splitting them up. Honestly they were easily the best couple on the show. They each helped the other grow as people, Hyde helped Jackie realize that money and material things aren't the most important things in the world and Jackie helped open up his heart and actually invest in longer lasting things. Thank you for making this video

Hyde and Jackie were the best couple, hands down. For one, they both knew each others flaws and accepted them. Hyde knew his girlfriend had a tendency to be shallow and talk too much a d Jackie knew Hyde could be careless at times and selfish. The thing is, they helped each other grow as people. They both changed. Jackie made Hyde see that he is capable of being loved and loving someone because all his life, Hyde hasn't exactly experienced that (except with Eric and his parents). Hyde made Jackie see that she can do better than guys who treat her like garbage and she is worth millions. Eric and Donna were a cool couple too, but their chemistry in incomparable to J/H. Season 8 was not good at all. Breaking them up was not a smart move(also, Eric AND Kelso not being a part of it, I'm sorry but bad move . They were the best individual characters on the show). Also, Fez and Jackie would have been cute in Season 2 or 3 when Fez was infatuated with her, but not in s8. Their relationship had absolutely no build up and it looked awkward. I also dont like how Jackie dated 3/4 of the guys in the group. They make her seem like the pair of jeans from the sisterhood of the traveling pants that's gets passed around in a group. They could have made her grow individually instead of dumbing down each of the characters back into their 16 year old selves.

exactly! especially since women are already pretty quick to be called degrading names like sluts/whores/etc. so then to make her date almost every guy in the group was such a poor move. everything about Jackie and Hyde just made sense. they’re the epitome of opposites attract and level each other out in all the right ways. I’ve never been so upset over a fictional breakup than I am with these two.

I'm obsessed with this couple so I always noticed these scenes while I watching the series. the chemistry between these two is incredible, no couple has transmitted so much truth as they, which makes me believe that they lived something in real life. the touches between them are always very affectionate. I love that Mila is with Asthon now, but it wouldn't hurt at all knowing that Mila and Danny was real too!

I think what always drew me to Hyde/Jackie as a couple is that they make each other more than their characters. Hyde isn’t just the conspiracy theorist stoner who can be kinda a dick, we see how gentle and kind he is with Jackie (and with Kitty). Jackie becomes more than a self obsessed rich kid, she steps out of her life and explores Hyde’s, helping him in a way we only really see her do with Donna. With Jackie and Kelso, it seems like they’re just their base parts. They don’t step beyond their stereotype.
Let's get real. The series started to decline in season 6 but we all endured it because of these two. And when season 8 happened... well, let's just pretend it never did.

I think they did all that on their own cause usually directors will tell their actors to do something in the background if it’s important to the scene but they just seemed to do it on their own, it didn’t add or subtract to anything

OH MY GOSH. I love this. Thanks so much for compiling this. I'd noticed some of these, mostly S5 and a decent number of S6, but there are a bunch of S7 moments here that I hadn't really noticed too much (mostly cause I didn't rewatch S6 and S7 as much - the show definitely went down in quality after S5 even though I loved established J/H). Danny and Mila always just did such a great job of portraying these two.

Jackie and Hyde just have so much chemistry together and by the end of season 7, Hyde wanted to marry Jackie so how could they just like forget about their relationship. They were the only couple that really felt real. They made each other so happy and they shouldn’t have broken up because in a weird but amazing way, they’re perfect for each other.

Just for fun i watched season 8 to see how hyde and samantha interacted even the background interaction was very stiff. There were no affectionate touches, there is this one episode where he had his hand on the table and samantha was holding his hand. He barely touched her hand back. Season 8 is horrible.

Choosing ted and robin over barney and robin it's a mistake... Choosing jackie and fez over JACKIE AND HYDE it's an insult. Totally screwed the show. (Maybe Forman wrote the season 8, he screws things up when they are going well).

Season 8 had new writers that didn't like Jackie and Hyde. The original writers that were there for 7 Seasons always intended for them to be endgame. Even the actors were against this breakup, especially Danny.
