I've watched a lot of BL Series specially from Thailand... and I can say that it's a good first episode.Kakaiba yung story line nito in other BL series that we are usually watching. Napaka brave ni direk Daryl Yap para ipursue yung gantong concept kahit na alam nya na maraming mag didisgree dito and magjujudged sakanya.. I hope na makilala din ito sa ibat ibang bansa katulad ng mga Thai Series. Naramdaman ko din yung chemistry nilang dalawa..I will wait for ep. 2❤❤❤kinikilig ako acccKkkKkKKK

To be honest , wala akong masabi being a BL Fan for almost 6 years , this is the first type of BL Series Na nakita ko na related sa Church and I can say being in a Catholic or Christian Country this needs so much courage to take . Congrats! Hilaw pa yung acting nung main characters. Pero yung pagiging "hilaw" na yun ay maaring maging strength pa nila. Natural yung naivety nina Christian and Zach, which adds to the kilig factor. And I'm sure in the coming episodes, mag-eevolve din sila at mas magiging mature. Kudos to everyone behind this series.

Ive been watching some BL series from thailand, chinese and korea. I really never thought that we filipinos can made a filmed like this. And it's amazing for me tho. I dont really want to compare it to others. Because this one is a tatak pinoy film. Improvement and experience can help this two lead actor more 😊😊😊😊- looking forward to esp 2. Keep it up guys .

Lets be honest, masyado nating minahal ang BL thai series kaya di maiwasan na maicompare pero sa totoo lng di rin naman din sobrang solid ng acting ng ibang Thai BL series pero minahal pa rin natin kaya sana lets give a chance sa sariling work ng Pinoy. And besides, this is just one of the first official BL series ng Pilipinas, wag naman nating icompare sa Thai na matagal na tlagang nagpoproduce ng BL Series ( old fan po ako ng BL series ng thai since Phun & Noh pa kaya alam ko wag nyo kong ibash).
Lastly, please refrain from bashing Sakristan laya di tayo umuunlad tayo rin naghihilahan eh, ganda kaya ng series, hindi sya perfect especially acting pero may potential sya tas puro Opm songs pa ginagamit mas lalong nkakaproud. Thank you. Kudos to Direct Darryl Yap.

Hmm. Honest thoughts:
*Medyo halata ngang baguhan pa ang mga actors sa pag-acting but kudos to them for being comfortable working with this genre. Hayaan muna natin, there's still room for improvement pa naman.
*Halata ding low budgeted ang series na to. Pero that's to be expected kasi walang sponsorship tong series diba? Overall, if iisipin yung skills nila in making this episode, it was fairly good. Halata lang na di maganda yung camera na ginamit and I know they lack that thing na parang nag rerecord ng audio nila while acting kaya they have to rely sa dubbing in some parts.
*Transitions are quite good. Can be improved pa din if mabigyan ng better equipment.
*Maganda ang plot. And in my opinion, the plot may be the only thing that will hold this series together for the mean time. Intriguing kasi but not too controversial and taboo na di akma to the most population of teens (which is their main target audience if I assume correctly).
Overall, this is a good start for bl series in Philippines. Kaya kababayan, support po tayo okay? I know medyo underwhelming pa ang series na ito but imagine if we support this and big companies will notice and start sponsoring for future BLs kasi they realize na magandang investment pala ang bl production. Diba? Baby steps muna tayo. Kaya as LGBT members and pwede din sa mga straight people na nakaka-appreciate ng ganitong genre, we have to support medias na nag-poportray sa ating stories in lighter tone. They can improve greatly basta we keep supporting them para ipagpatuloy nila yung mga gawa nila and we can indulge to many more bl stories na hopefully with better production. Lablab tayo guys.

This was a good episode. It Is obviously "indie" and that is what gives the series so much potential. The actors are attempting to portray clearly complex roles and the story lines is trying to make room for that (e.g. flash back). The songs and the scene transition added to the story. A moving piece. The actors are attempting to be authentic and they are earnest. I look forward to their continuous work. Kudos to the director and creative team. Thank you for the subtitles. Also, I love the disclaimer and spin on the acronym, LGBT. Much appreciated!

The cinematography is spot on.Very beautiful. The OST is amazing. Even if hindi pa tapos ung series I can say na it has a wonderful plot and story line. BUT to be honest, I'm quite cringing when the actors throw their dialogues. I do think they need to improve their tones or how they speak and deliver the lines and make it more natural. More emotions but at the same time act naturally. But this is good for a start

It's how we steroetypically talk, there's a bit of english words because it's easier to say. Also, the language is closely related to spanish.
Filipino language has borrowed words from Spain due to cultural shared values, heritage and language before since phil were once envaded by Spaniards same with americans, thats why we're good in english and spanish.

1. Acting skills (more emotions, ung feel na feel). Yung pagbato ng lines, baka pwedeng bagalan din.
2. Yung positioning ng camera (i think mas maganda kung may zoom in sa mukha ng characters para makita ung different emotions like dun sa part na niyakap nya si zach, dapat ipinakita ung mukhang nahihiya or kinakabahan)
3. Transitioning ng clips

Another way to support series like this is by giving comments. There is nothing wrong with it specially when done critically. The only way we move forward is when we take these comments into consideration in future productions

1. constructive critisisms are healthy in making films which is iba sa "bash". kasi in this way, they might have construct more ideas na pwede pala i improve. producers/editors/directors love to see such comments like that.

De joke lang, sobrang ganda Direk and first time ko tumangkilik ng BL series. Nung una nag hehesitate ako kase pagsinabing BL either for girls or LGBT- and as a straight para sakin parang di tama, until I found out na yung iba kong classmate na straight na may GF nanonood na BL to support their GF's. Besides di naman porket nanood ka ng ganto as a straight person eh Bading kana. Kung alam mo naman sa sarili mo na hindi. Yes, kinilig ako kahit straight ako so bading naba ako non? Actually kinilig ako not because this episode driven me to have a desire of kissing my same sex, but because it was just "cute" to see how general the love can be.

For me, I only watch or read BL just to find another story another perspective. And as a boy, oo nakakakilig minsan kahit in the end 'mababaw' na story lang naman siya para sakin. But it also helps me to become a more Man in some ways.

The series has a good heart. The script was well thought of and makes the viewers think while giving respect to those whose lives may have experienced this at one time or the other. As a first episode, it was dramatically shot. I believe in time, the chemistry and the actors' timing on banter, exchanges and oneliners will work - all they need is time. Let us give them that. Hopefully, background noise and seamless editing of the audio will be as flawless as the shots next episode. Thank you :)

@@valkyrie2866 this is definitely a step into the right direction. And the young man who played Zach, he has tremendous potentials to be a great actor. There are moments when his actions were nuanced, his eyes were expressive and for a firstimer, he has such screen presence. Christian on the other hand needs a bit of loosening up, for a first episode, the tension and stress should be high for them, now, he can lighten up and just be Christian :)

I am really proud of Vincentiments to push through this stuff. Though there were a lot of criticisms set before hand this project, you still manage it. This is a work of fiction and art. Nah no way, not all filipinos use baybayin, baybayin is just only for tagalogs, there are a lot of pre-colonial writing systems out there. kapampangans has kulitan script, mindoro has buhid, palawenyos has tagbanwa, mindanaons has jawi and kirim, ilokanos has kur-itan, bikolanos has basahan and cebuanos has badlit.

my UN-BIASED thoughts about this one (kalimutan ko munang si Direk Darryl ang nag dirhe at vincentiments ang production)
1.VOICE - ewan ko kung dubbed lang ba or what yung boses nila pero ang weird ng boses ni Christian haha.
2.CUT- the way they cut scenes is just parang PROJECT SA SCHOOL na bukas na ang pasahan,should enhance more on cinematography.
3.MORE PRACTICE- the acting is just kinda off pero mapagtya-tyagaan naman (as if may magagawa ako) pero sana nagpractice muna sila ng proper way to deliver lines kase medyo cringey nga..and so far natuwa ako doon sa mga bakla they deserve more exposure nakakatuwa sila
overall,5/10 muna ang ratings ko for this episode,salute to everyone behind this! God bless!

What I like: The cinematography and the music. Ganda! It's nice din na of two colors yung main actors (kayumangi and mestizo). Script is nice too.
What I don't like: Yung pag ka edit. I know Vincentiments has a style on their videos pero sana iba yung approach since this is a BL series.
What I appreciate: With limited budget, they were able to make it work. Winner yung 4 na bading!
I know they did there best but the acting needs improvement. In a BL series, you need to make the audience feel the connection and spark of the two for us to ship them.

Daryl Yap's conceptions are really amazing. Instead of making him feel less appreciated, let's do it in a good way. Di masama ang mag-critic pero sana may kadikit na appreciation sa huli. Not only the bad side of the coin, but the good side as well. At in terms of the actors, they are made not just born. Sa panahon ngayon, mas magandang humanap ng bagong talents na iiimprove instead magstick sa mga lumang artista kahit sakit na. There's a lot to improve, yes it's given pero let's all give it a shot..

Yeah it may be awkward acting. They're not professionals but there will always be room for improvement. And as a female BL(boys love) fanatic for almost half of my life, I won't complain lol.
