Tony's talent shines bright in the world of BL (Boys' Love) dramas. His acting feels incredibly natural and watching him on screen is a joy. The relationship itself deserves to be expanded into a series PART 3. It's worth noting that the first series was shot during the COVID-19 pandemic, so the limited interaction between the characters. So, I am very sure we all need PART 3!

I’ve watched this movie a couple of times and I just watched it again. I had the same situation as Xavier. Natakot din ako noon na ilabas ang katotohanan tungkol sa sarili ko. But as he said, “kailangan maging matapang ka sa kahinaan mo”. I’m glad I took the courage to come out. I am in a relationship with my boyfriend now for 3 yrs.
You will learn a lot from this movie. Finding yourself, finding the truth, acceptance, forgiveness..
And the chemistry of Tony and JC is superb! May spark actually.

I watched this movie already but still I can't keep my heart's desire to watch this again coz it really has those lesson and values that everyone can learn regardless of their gender. For me it has these five stars: First, it's that bravery of Xavier and other characters in the story to overcome those fear of possibility that the community and even their loved ones will judge them; second is the lesson that you could learn from every line that they throw and literally you can hear it in their hearts, everything is heartfelt; third is also the lesson that Simon brought to them especially to Mico during the camp and basing on to his books which Mico get used to read; the fourth one is how the story tells us that everything is possible even in most unexpected ways, like how Mico and Xavier met and how they fall in love with each other; and lastly it is the courage of someone to let go his/her most loved person even if it might hurt her, and Crystal take that so much courage from her heart that she no longer fear to let go of things that she can't control, and for me she has the best role in this movie. That realization that you have to bring out from your mind is a big thing for everyone's happiness. And what's most important thing, I've learned in this movie is to find your truth in everything, not just in love but in all aspects of life. This series now turned to movie should bagged a lot of awards, no kidding this is the standard Filipino BL series for me.

@@ilove.blueshade and to be fair talaga, yung big 3 BL natin (Hello Stranger, Gameboys and Gaya Sa Pelikula), mas maganda ang pagkakasulat kesa sa almost all of Thai BL... (not all but almost all). Sayang talaga. Gateway na sana nila na lumawak market nila internationally.. Ang dami rin mga talents nila na walang projects ngayon na pwede nila bigyan through BL like JC, Raven, Brent Manalo etc

Finally, inilabas na din sa YT. I tried looking for this on so many streaming platforms. This is my 2nd time watching and it still has the same kilig as the first time during the post pandemic when it first came out. The first Pinoy BL Series na talagang iconic for me as it was the first BL series that I also watched especially during the pandemic. The series version of Hello Strangers was something that made the pandemic bearable and gave something for BL goers to look forward to during the quarantine. I miss both Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara. I haven't heard from them in a loooong while. Hopefully, they have more projects like this. I know ang daming nag follow after the first three BL series na naglabasan during the pandemic. Biglang nagsulputan mga Pinoy BL series, but iba din kasi ang isa sa mga pioneer batch ng mga BL Series. This is my top 1 na BL Series so far.
Missed those pandemic times na eto lang inaabangan ko na BL to watch. Still can't get enough with Team XavMi😍😍😍

Am I the only one who wanted Xavier to work a little bit harder to win Mico back? I feel like the end was a little bit rushed and I didn’t have the time to enjoy their process of getting back together. On top of that, the romantic set up on the beach should have been from Xavier and not from Mico, that way, he would’ve proved to Mico that this time he’s here to stay and he loves Mico so much.

totally agreed with you, they should`ve switched position on the beach scene for xavier to show his determination, this is the sense suppose to be, xavier is the one who hurts mico, why did it has to be mico to be the patcher of their relationship eventually? unfair to mico, this made it just like xavier was the one who always gaining advantages and made mico`s love and obsession towards xavier cheap
@@cyfei1982 glad to see that I’m not the only one thinking this way. That scene didn’t make sense to at all, we all knew how Mico loved Xavier and he wanted to be with him since the beginning. Xavier was the unsure and unavailable one, so to make Mico do that for Xavier really pissed me off.
@@sarahkoho7794 correct, uncertainty is not a reason/excuse for a person to hurt another person, don't commit to anything on your own uncertainty and there shouldn't have bi-directions in relationship. mico to xavier is 100% but not vice versa, in Chinese, xavier could be called a 渣男 already

You don't know how depressing I was the first time I watch this and found out that they are not together 😭 Hello Stranger is one of the best bl I ever watched, I mean the chemistry is top tier! I can't let go when I finally reach the last episode. Then when the movie came out, thinking that I will see them lovey dan dovey, the truth slap me. But this movie is so great, every aspect is amazing. Drama, comedy, romance. For you who haven't watch it, please watch it, that would be the best decision u ever made. And let's have a moment of silent for those who haven't find this movie, they missed so much.

Honestly though, there's a lot of material that can be used as story arcs for this movie to turn to a Season 2 of the original series. What happens after Xavier and Mico became together? How will Xavier's parents, especially his dad come to terms with their son's gender identity? What are the things in store for XavMi and KaiSeph? Season 2 please.

Wow .. 1 NC scene in the entire shabang ... that lasted all of 4.5 seconds .... not a complaint , merely an observation. The cast and crew have my adoration and respect. I loved the leads and supporting cast, felt bad for Xavier, he was misunderstood and almost lost the first person who made him feel whole. Junjun was my favorite .. his energy, honesty and ability to read a room were magnificent and his advice was always spot on for the situation at hand. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 standing ovation from this international bl fan 💯❣
