I’m still waiting for more Tommy reactions mate ;)
❤ Great again ❤ One of the best Sabaton performances I am still missing… “En Livstid I Krig” - live version… and activate the caption (because its Swedish) - or you are familiar with this language 😂
This is great, I’d love to go see Sabaton live but I don’t know anyone that wants to come along with me 😢 I do think they are coming to the Netherlands. Btw I always loved history ☺️
Hoi Renske, ze komen 3 mei in Amsterdam. Ik ga er (ook) alleen heen. Het is even een drempel over. Maar ik vind ze zo cool. 😊
@Lorenzo Smit precies! 🤗
I’ve always loved history in school, my favorit along with art and gym😍. Loved your reaction to this great band, not only because their Swedish like me, but because they tell a true story and we know that because they have historians who tell them the true story❤️❤️❤️. And they are mad musicans aswell!!!❤️🤘🏻🎸🥁
And to quote Baldrick "The poor old ostrich died for nothing"
I visited the Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary's summer retreat in Bad Ischl
and they have the desk next to the bedroom where
he signed the declaration of war in 1914 on Serbia
which led to WW1.
"Gee, that poisonous-looking cloud looks real friendly, I'm not gonna skedaddle at all!"
Such a great song, thanks for the reaction 👍
Funny you mention back then "when there weren't 8 billion people". Without the guy this song is about we wouldn't be able to feed the population we have today. Which is why this song talks about the duality of him.
Great reaction!! Sabaton has an amazing way of teaching you something with every song and you often don’t realize you are absorbing it. Keep up the awesome vids, my friend! Love the shirt, btw. 😘
Can I say I laughed at your first two words "great reaction"
as the Haber process for making Ammonia was indeed a great discovery
and provided enough fertiliser to feed the growing population.
Sadly Haber was also a developer of gas warfare in the first world war
and developed Zyklon-B used by the Nazis in their extermination camps.
He had died before a product developed for rat extermination was used
and ironically as he was Jewish would likely have been a victim.
Great reaction. Thanks for posting. Nice shirt!
The only thing that sticks in my head more than ABBA, is Sabaton. If a song gets in, it doesn't leave until I'm nothing more than a faint, trembling, shadow of my former self. If Sabaton ever does an ABBA cover it will be over for me. I will spend the rest of my days rocking in a corner, humming "gimme gimme gimme...."
Quote from Joakim "Our new song “Father” is a dark track about a very controversial person. Fritz Haber, the man who weaponised lethal gas, is responsible for about 4 billion people being alive today thanks to the Haber-Bosch process that he won a Nobel Prize for. It takes some serious thought to wrap your head around his story. Things aren’t always easy to understand or simply black and white, but rather all shades of grey. “Father” really forces you to think a bit more than the average song you hear on the radio."
I feel the power in this song. Really hope to see this one live in April
I'd love to see you react to - The Future of Warfare next by these. From the same EP as Father

Heres the link :)
Roll on April - Leeds!
Nice 😊
I would love to see you react to sabaton - en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war) live Scandinavium Gothenburg. It is the Swedish version of the song so be sure that the subtitles are on. I was at that show and all I can say is that you won’t regret it.
Point of History classes: to learn from it
I love metal and Sabaton is one of my favorite bands! To your question, I actually have always loved history even growing up in school despite being bullied consistently through my schooling. I don't know if you have reacted to them yet but if you like songs like this, I would like to suggest giving a listen to Iced Earth - Gettysburg, I think it's a trilogy of songs or something like that but it brings me to tears every time I listen to it and I'm curious as to what your reaction would be! Cheers mate, all the love to you! Shine on bro, I connect with you and your energy so much! You are an absolute legend.
Waow...a bit late noticing this reaction, but as always I'm enjoying listening to you and seeing your reaction to the music.
I hated history in school but Sabaton has a way to tell a story and leave you with a curiosity to learn more about it, so I'm way better with history nowadays. 🤣
Look up Dan Carlin's hardcore history podcast. Lots of them are free and the ones that cost anything are cheap. He talks about tons of stuff that I have never heard or read anywhere else. His WW1 series is something like 6 4 hour episodes and was all free the last I looked.
