At 2:42 that is my picture of my set up. It is setting on Ron Paulks designed Ultimate miter saw stand. This picture was posted only on Festools "FOG" forum for a few people interested in Occidental. I have had this set up since 2005 and use it at least 5 days a week. There are no signs of any damage, just worn and broken in. Jamie Brown JLB Builders LLC
I got a nylon nail bag in about 1993, it has a fe cuts from sharp chisel contact but it is still going great. I have long since forgotten how much it cost but i think it would work out to be about $10 a year. That's cheap. Thanks occidental from Australia.
I'm not a professional builder, after seeing this product, I want to be an apprentice now. Looks very practical, I own a kunys tool belt, it's great, but this belt just looks great, and I want one.
And for the record, I got MY electricians belt/pouch from Occidental leather in 1982 FROM Occidental, (or was it Bodega) and it STILL works just fine, every tool in it has been replaced many many times . . . . and now I'm worn out . . . bags look a little dusty ;)
I'm a professional builder, we build custom homes and I've worn occidental for the last 15 years. I've put these bags through every kind of hell imaginable....rain, snow, baked in the sun, drug through mud and they only get better with age..
Hi, I am a carpenter and looking for my next tool belt. Can you explain the difference between the carpenter belt and the framers belt? I like the idea of the fixed carpenter belt but can I attach the suspenders to it without removing the bags? Also I use the Martinez hammer and I d like to add the long sleeve hammer holder, will the Martinez hammer fit and can the carpenter fixed belt be ordered with the long sleeve? Cheers
Hello, I'm in a carpenter who does form work. Which tool belt would you recommend? With form-work, I'm constantly carrying many tools (Hammer, tape, speed square, pliers, chalk line, tin snips, torpedo level, claw, spikes/2" nails). I need something really durable as I've gone through a Dewalt pouch in the matter of months- I work outdoors all year including in the winter. thanks
i bought a really nice bags it took me about two months to make the descicion of getting a pair since they are so expensive. best belt i ever owned. too bad they got stolen about 5-6 weeks after i got them. I still get nightmares and want to punch somebody. it cost me almost $300 with suspenders + the tools that i had in there. Im trying to make my company pay for them since im a union carpenter they might do it.
Look if your make your liven as a carpenter just get you a set if you buy them when your Apprentice when you retire you can give them to an apprentice then and he can wear them for another 20 years I've got a set that's 25 years old and I've got some of the new black vinyl ones whatever the heck they are buy them once and be done simply they're the best bags you can buy
I've had mine over 20 years. Great belts. I'm a rough frammer and use it ever day.

Alexi Angel they should of it was in the gang box
they look so great but the price point takes a big hit on the pocket book
Michael Contreras yeah it's worth it. I know a guy that has had his for over 10 years. you pretty much get what you pay for.
Michael Contreras if it's for work keep it the receipt write it off on your taxes. You get all your money back.
Michael Contreras They are cheaper in the long run.
We totally agree! Thanks for the comment!
You guys need to put a speed square pokect..in the right hand bags too...
Its all you need to do...for lefties..speed square pocket..for speed square...
In the right side...the right handed tool belt work for lefties...all it needs its a pockect for speed square.
I like how the hammer ring is on the back....so if you fall off a ladder it'll brake mine. I'll stick with my side rider hammer
What if you fall sideways

Torres Leather leather goods are better and yours has been known to be fake leather.
You need to stop using a women's color for your leather. Burgundy is for women. Lol! Seriously.
