Toilet paper (Tissue Paper)
Plastic Ball ( you can use Round Shape balloon also)

Because of the lighting and position of the camera it is looking like that otherwise it is looking like moon. Moon has got many shades.well done nice

agree, but I think you can shape the creases with the paper before it dries and highlight it with grey paint :3

no i used CFL Bulb led or cfl bulb did not produce to much heat
You can use plastic led bulbs, they remain cold always...

For those who tried it: Wont the warm of the lamp burn the paper with the glue as it stays on for a long time? Just wondering bc it seems interesting and wanna try it.
it never burn if you are using CFL or Led Bulb i m using this from part 3 months
normal bulb cause heat alot of heat but led bulb is already made of plastic so it won't burn your model

Will it be like a firm ball like think after tissue dries on the balloon? I doubt .
Also one more doubt, should we pop and take out the balloon from the small circle after the tissue dries?
Apply tissue and let it almost 24 hours then apply colour because colour is aslo wet wait for another one or two hour then remove the balloon for better results 🤫

i made too much layers, and string lights didn't shine through. any recommendations for any kind of lamp i could try?
use thinnest tissue paper or toilet paper and don't use more then 5 layers use led bulb or CFL bulb because they produce low heat

I love this lamp. Im gonna do it but does anyone know like what is max wattage for safety; fire prev? I like low colored lighting so I don't usually use more than 20watts for ambiance. I hope that's still safe.

apply at-least 4 5 layers and leave it approx 24 hour it remove easily

Please use an LED bulb they are safer.
depend on weather condition CFL Bulb Did not produce too much heat for my case its working fine. i know led bulbs is much safer thanks for your suggestions i will keep in mind next time.
