Can you please do a phoenix 🙏 I absolutely loves phoenixs I can't really find any paper craft videos with decent phoenixs, your paper craft videos are so good 🤩
How much paste did you use? Like how big was the tub? I'm in the price of making a lamp like this for my boy but with left over wall filler and wondering if I have enough!
I think it was 3 liter bucket. Read what I wrote in the description box, my struggles, and tips. Basically, I recommend making a base from cardboard and paper and then just put paste on top.
No cardboard. If you are using spackling paste/wall putty, your base should be hard, or at least somewhat water-resistant. Because that paste contains moisture, and if you put cardboard as a base, it will absorb it all, and you will have a mess.
@moonlighteditz5480 It depends on what base you will use. If it's canvas, then you just hang it on a long nail. The canvas backside has an indent, so you just hang it. 😃 Just make sure your nail is in a good place on the wall and is sturdy because that moon will be heavy.
Your Moon Lamp is absolutely stunning and I love how you interpreted the moon the way you visualized it in your art. Art is not perfection - it is a journey of creativity from the heart, mind and soul of an artist. I have been looking to create this type of moon lamp and I am inspired on your creativity. Thank you for sharing your journey in what worked best in creating as well as solving the problems you ran into. The size of 50 cm mentioned earlier is perfect. I'm glad I found your page here on UTube. Keep on inspiring others and I look forward to more collections to your portfolio.
Yeah, I reckon the results will be pretty similar. I haven’t done any cement crafts myself, but I reckon it should work. You can try using the same methods as I did. There’s more details and pictures on my blog.
@boyratul1 I used wall putty/spackling paste, I think, is called. It wasn't supposed to be used in a thick layer, so I did have cracks in the middle when it dried. The outer side was fine. So after it all was dry, I used modeling clay to fill the gaps. If I had more that wall puty left, I would have used that. You can try to do the same. Let it dry completely, and then glue all together and fill all the gaps with more pops. I think if you use it in small amounts, it should act as a glue
Do you mean a circular canvas? It's a basic canvas from the store to paint on. If I had a hard-surface one like the ones made from plywood, I would have used it.
Sorry but this is the wirat moon lamp I’ve ever seen. Looks more like a sand pit with those perfectly circular holes and excessive amount of craters that are all the same size. Please look at the moon properly and then try this again. And that cheap cardboard circumference took away from whatever little moon look you could’ve achieved.
I'm not in the contest for accuracy. It's art, and I thought bigger craters looked better in the dark. My moon was inspired by the far side of the moon, which has many craters. As for the frame, yes, it could be better, but since my moon was so heavy, I made the frame as light as I could.
try to the same but instead of painting the cardboard white make it black and hang it so that is will blend in the dark an look like a real moon
Great idea 😃
good 👍
Your crafts looks like something that came from heaven 🎉🎉😮😮😮😊❤
Happy you liked 🥰

No cardboard. If you are using spackling paste/wall putty, your base should be hard, or at least somewhat water-resistant. Because that paste contains moisture, and if you put cardboard as a base, it will absorb it all, and you will have a mess.
@RSartcraftsdesign oh ok thanks :)

What are pops? Sorry I didn't understand your question 🙂
@@RSartcraftsdesign pops means plaster of Paris and I have tried to make moon on canvas and this pops are rising from the canvas
@boyratul1 I haven't worked with Plaster of Paris. Do you mean it is drying, and it's falling off? Doesn't it have adhesion to the canvas anymore?
@@RSartcraftsdesign yes what can I do?
