:) I am down -67 pounds from 222 pounds so far I have not restricted myself throughout my whole journey. I just have been using portion control & using the 80% healthy and 20% foods that I want. As well as being in a calorie deficit if I want to eat a treat I can as long as I log it! Allow god to develop inner self discipline within you .🙏 💯 x
Thank you for real life info. I spent at least 1yr with a dietician. Gained valuable info I didn't really use. It is a life change being with a dietician I was losing but wasn't committed. I did start to look at labels, serving size made healthier choices. I struggle with water drinking. Bout to really get committed. You are inspiration, relatable a real woman who had struggled with weight & overcome. I did lose like 30-40 pounds with dietician but didn't keep it off. It's not dieting it's a life change gotta change my approach to this new phase of life. Thanks for sharing your journey & helping others to reach their goal. My new goal is 30lbs ultimate goal is 200lb. For me that's 100lb loss & maintain it

Girl.. that Sara Lee cheesecake had a hold on me 😟😔. I just broke my cycle from a 10-day cheesecake binge 😭. I ate two slices of raspberry cheesecake on thanksgiving & I literally went to the store everyday to by a few slices or a whole cheesecake 😭. I felt so sick smh. I was able to kick the craving around the 6th/7th of December and heal my mind! I’ve been good since then, but I was so overwhelmed that I allowed myself to fall into that cycle. I agree 100% about not waiting to eat until you go out. I did that last week to “stay looking cute” (not bloated) during a small gathering that evening and I ended up eating two bags of chips, a slide of cake then bought some McDonald’s on the way home. Girl 🤦🏾♀️. I woke up and was over myself. I don’t want to fall into these mental spaces and I’m doing better every day! I just realized that I can’t restrict myself so severely because the part of my mind that I’m gaining control of will take over and I’ll overdo it. SUCH A HELPFUL VIDEO! You are a gem & you’ve truly been a phenomenal accountability partner 🧡

can you do a video on how you stay in your calorie deficit during times when you're going out to eat or to get togethers? especially during the holidays when family and friends are here and everyone wants to do things

Yeah, I have to accept that I like certain foods. I try to restrict myself completely, but then I fall into the sunken place when I do give in. I love gummy bears and fruit snacks, so I just dedicate a daily or every other day portion & enjoy it. Even for my cheese itz and other snacks. Portion it out & call it a day.
“You have to learn how to say ‘no’ to the things you know are not right” ... it’s as simple as that. That goes for everything in life. So important.

Yep, I fit that cheesecake that I want to eat in my calories range of 1200 to 1400 calories a day and my carbs range which is 50g to 60g a day
