    Played 10 more hours right after:
    1. I unlocked some more passive attack skills shortly after this vid, which made farming enemies a lot better/faster
    2. Ascensions reset your dude's levels, but you keep all gear and progress on pets etc. Upgrades are e.g. get some extra skill points, more base attack, stuff like that. Ascension skill tree is not fleshed out yet because demo
    3. Game ended up being A LOT more Idle than I anticipated (game is called nomad IDLE, no way I could have guessed that)
    4. I can't read

      I was gonna say as you're talking and mousing over "When do I get to the next stage" and "Enemies until Next Stage are literally above your mouse cursor" I was like, there's no way he can't read that... lol.

    Saying you don't know what triggers the next stage while hovering half an inch away from the literal countdown is just something I've come to expect here

    Yeah, it's definitely an idle game. What I'm trying to accomplish is an idle game where playing actively is meaningful but not required. I don't want the game to overstay its welcome so I'm aiming for it to be beatable in a week or two, trying to maintain having interesting unlocks and things to look forward to as you progress and not have big walls that take days to overcome or anything.
    The yellow bar you saw in Area 3 is the edge of the playable area. All Areas have it, because the map visually goes on further than you're actually allowed to go. If anyone finds the yellow bars particularly ugly, it can be toggled off in the Settings!
    You can also zoom out with your mouse wheel if you wanted to. I feel like I really need to explain that somewhere.
    And yes, the Playtest is open to everyone. You just click to sign up and you get instantly accepted.

      so there is no auto click function even for left click... i just wanted to watch him idle as i do other chores/tasks.

    The HP bar going down from unseen action going on behind the update screen was pure gold.

    It's pretty cool. I got it back in late Nov. and have maxed out the demo. Looking forward to the full release.

    cacophony - many sounds all at the same time that don't work well together. Dissonance.
    inundated - overwhelmed by a massive quantity of something
