I wouldn't be surprised if AMD "fixed" Ryzen 9000 since the launch did appear a bit rushed (coupled with potential Windows scheduler issues). Of course the matter was over emphasised but clickbait these days are par for the course.
Right? With the problems it was just a little faster than the 7000 series - but used almost half the power! Really, I can understand saying it was a bad upgrade for anyone with a 7000 CPU. But to badmouth it the way everyone did... Everyone is so locked on "I will have the best of the best, with the best 480mm water cooler with the best custom made block...." that they forget 95% of buyers don't live on lala land. We have to weight cost, power usage, thermals (we don't have the luxury of "jet taking of full tower with 15 fans") and everything else. Yes, it's all well and good saying "buy DDR6000 with extra low latency". But what if I get a normal DDR5 6000, and use the difference to upgrade from one 9600 to one 9800 Wouldn't it more than make up to the lower latency? Or if I forgo the 4080 to one 4070, and use the difference to just buy more and faster storage? Compromises, compromises. I don't live on lala land.

No offense, but why get into tech if you don't have the funds to do so in a manner that's actually effective? Cheap systems get cheap results. Most people buying these kind of systems generally make money using them.
Well, Ryzen - all generations - hasn't has the best intercore latencies (not quite as awful as 9000 series mind you, but slightly worse then Intel's intercore latencies), but happy they where able to improve it on 9000 series. Wonder if this also applies to 7000 series? Anyways, have to see what this does in real world games.
RTX5090 has 3 weeks lifespan thanks to beautiful aesthetics (only 1 power connector so that your rig wont be ugly) then it will catch on fire and you need to buy a new 5090. if you are a millionaire and can afford a 5090 every 3 weeks its a good idea to buy a 5090 else you need to buy a 7900XTX, W7900, A6000 or B6000.
@@Valorantplayer2727 it was a latency reporting issue, 9000 series were reporting high core to core latency (even though under the hood they were completely fine), so they fixed the reporting to more accurately report the real latency

Wow...that uplift.
"Prices aren't all that bad." $800 for JUST a motherboard isn't bad?!?! You can build an entire really decent PC for that.
true
people wont understand it better buying cheap pc every year and not expensive one every 5years
$800 for a premium motherboard is not new. There is always something for rich people. No surprise

"AMD Just FIXED Ryzen 9000!" *1% fix*
I didn't say they gave it a performance uplift, though that's honestly one preliminary benchmark.
