It was so damn funny during the tension and tedium of training and meant as a how not to guide for us newbies. I swear that in nearly 29 years of flying I have never said “buh bye “ to passengers as they’ve deplaned. 😆

My brother is an airline pilot and his wife a flight attendant. After this first aired my brother would say "buh bye" to her during arguments. And, yes, they're still married.
What's sad is, when this aired, people even in 1994 were already saying that airlines were going downhill with employee attitudes and poor customer service. My parents sure were, because they could remember flying in the 60s , 70s and even 80s when people were still treated with respect. I look at airlines today, and think damn, I thought it was bad back in the 90s, but those days still seem pretty good compared to now.
Monday my flight was supposed to leave at 4:30pm on Spirit. It was delayed to 530 and then 630 and then 645 and then finally 12:15 AM the next day. They gave me a $35 food voucher and a $50 flight voucher. Whenever spirit gives you a voucher is never good for where you need to fly. buh bye

David Spade got lucky and he found his "voice" and the right character that allows him to shine as a star. What he does is low key but because it's right for him it really works. However he is great in this skit.
