I hope Matt and his team aren't disappointed with the amount of views or likes they got on this video. I think this is one of the most beautiful videos and songs in the world, and even if they didn't reach 10 million people (like they should have), Matt (and team) you've touched me to my very soul and I thank you for doing incredible things like this.
I agree. After knowing this song for 4 years, I still come back to this video whenever I need a reminder that humanity can be absolutely amazing. This video should have 100 times the views. Although it doesn't, I thank you for how much this song and this video have affected me, even four years later. Thank you.
I know...I'm sitting here in front of my computer, just loving this song and the little guy got me too!! Crying, alone, with my music cranked up (because that's how you listen to music) in front of my computer.... Matt, you are AWESOME!!! *I love what I call "Life Changers" and this is one of them!!!
Met him at a concert in Charlotte, NC last summer and he is one of the warmest, most humble people I've ever met. I love seeing celebrities give back, but especially Matt because thats actually him! No facade he's hiding behind... it's all him. He deserves the best in life and in his career. We love you Matt!
Seeing the little boy hearing for the first time... God. Oh, my God. I am still crying as I write this. I was just clicking through and noticed a song by Matt that I hadn't heard yet. Damn, Matt... I can't stop crying with happiness for these people. Thank you, Matt, for your kindness.
I'm a 21-year-old cancer survivor, who suffers from a hearing loss as a result of that, so I find this song to be extremely relevant to my life and it's awesome to know that artists like this are making music like this, and doing projects like this. It's great. I personally would not have known about this song, since it's not what I normally listen to but a friend of mine recommended it to me and it brought a smile to face today!
I've watched this video like 15 times and I still cry every Damn time at 3:27... for those who disliked it because "it's supposed to be about headphones" it's is about headphones. Those little things in their ears are their headphones. When wearing headphones one feels almost unstoppable. That's what it's like for them. I'm not calling those dislikes out or anything just clearing things up and giving my opinion.
I have never cried so much for a music video. As someone who has delt with hearing loss her entire life I think this is the best and most beautiful thing ever!!!!!! I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this!! Most people don't realize how big of an issue it is and if we can help them understand and help those who need it then that it the most amazing this ever!!!!!!!! Still crying here lol.
This is such a beautiful video. My daughter has a hearing loss and she has been part of the Starkey Foundation for years. Mr. & Mrs. Austin, owner of the Starkey Foundation, are Angels. They are the 2 most caring people I ever met. They actually fit the children with the hearing aids. As Mr. Austin is putting on the hearing aids, each and every child gets the most hands on care, that I ever seen. As he holds their face in his hands is priceless. My daughter has been lucky to experience a true Angel. The staff at the Starkey Foundation is so personable to each and every one of the children. Thank you for this video. Thank you to Mr. & Mrs. Austin and the whole staff at Starkey Foundation. God Bless you always and thank you for giving the gift of hearing........."So The World May Hear"
my mom was deaf since she was 27 took 22 years but the moment the hearing device was turned on it was priceless, she heard the voice for her grand kids she broke in tears. This video touches me.
A friend sent this to me, today. She said the song reminds her of me. She had no idea that my Son is deaf, and wears hearing aids. I am a musician. It was always a heartbreaking sadness to me that there are ranges of sound my Son can’t hear, but also a profound gratitude for what he can hear, and his appreciation for music regardless of his struggles. I will absolutely be sharing this with everyone, especially him. Thank you for this. Bless you, you are incredible! 💗
The sight of all those children hearing for what might be the very first time, the looks on their faces, inspires me to go out and work to end the inequality of care in the world. This video is a powerful motivator, and Matt is a class act for his participation. Thank you for posting this!
Always making a difference in peoples lives through music and aid. If you have never met Matt he is the warmest kindest soul you will meet. There just not many people out there especially in the music industry like him. His music can influence the course of ones life his empathy and support can make them simply change a life. Matt is the kind of artist that will sign an autograph for you but would rather talk to you and know you!! Keep up the amazing work Matt!!!! (Matt Union College)
I recently discovered this song, took me forever to find it. I only heard a little bit of it. So after finding it I've had it on repeat all day. I watch this video and I want to cry! My mother wore 2 hearing aids. She is gone now, and I know how difficult it is for all who have profound hearing loss. Mom in heaven this song is for you.
I have a hearing disorder, and for half of my life so far, I couldn't hear much. Its really sad when you can't hear any of the beautiful noises of the world. I even have a sister with Cancer :( Life sucks, but this song and video is very inspiring
Most people like crazy things that are kinda of exciting but not serious that is why this music got less views. I really love the song..it gives hope and motivation.. Listening all the way from Kenya 2019
Been away from my country for 11 years and to see someone help my people the way he did, with his art, and his kindness. It really touches me. Thank you.
He visto este video cientos de veces, su acción y mensaje no tiene precio. Cada una de esas veces he llorado de la emoción de ver la honesta felicidad del humilde.
This song meant something completely different to me until I saw the video. This is incredible and wonderful, I love it. 🎶Everybody wants to be with me, but I got all I need. I feel invincible with my headphones on🎶
You're an incredible human being Matt. As a Peruvian living in the U.S., I was left with tears after seeing this video. Your work as well as the foundation's is very inspiring. Thank you.
What a poetic interpretation of the lyrics. I will never hear this song again without these images in my mind. Bravo, Matt and Starkey for an amazing mission and beautiful service.
Matt Nathanson is an amazing entertainer and talented singer, songwriter. Just had the pleasure of seeing him live at the Rose Music Center. Loved it and love him!
Thank you, Matt Nathanson! As a woman with hearing loss, I applaud both your philanthropic gestures as well as the CC on the music video! #captionthis #closedcaptionsmatter
this video made me cry. the reactions of the people getting the hearing aids are just beautiful. this is, hands down, one of the best videos i have seen this year.
Incredible, I dont think Ive ever cried watching a music video before, but this is amazing. Thanks for doing this Matt, as a Peruvian living in North America its hard to think of how tough of a life some have it in Peru and you guys touching so many lives and helping out is beyond words. Great job!
OMGoodness! This is one of the most heart warming, compassionate and amazing videos I have ever had the privilege to see! So many take the gift of our senses for granted. To the 93 people that disliked this video, you're clearly some of them! Shame on you! Good things come to good people, so you probably shouldn't wait in line for any of those things to come your way! I am just in awe right now, watching the happiness and gratitude from those extremely deserving individuals that received a gift that I am certain is life changing for them! This video made me cry, but only tears of joy for all of them. ♡
This song and video really touched my heart. I've never cried like I am now for any song before. I had ear surgery this morning so this video and song really meant a lot to me
Matt- We (my then-boyfriend-now-husband, my service dog, and I) have been following you since 2001 when I believe you were touring with Matt Fish and we first saw you in LA (where we grew up). We have since seen your shows numerous times in SF (near where I attended college), San Jose, San Diego, LA, and a few times in Boston (where we moved for grad school and have set up our life). You've always been so incredibly gracious and friendly as has your extended team. Following one of your SF shows (I believe at GAMH - possibly the last performance on that particular tour), we were welcomed by some of your close friends (including your wife) while we waited for a quick pic. Despite the late hour, you spent a good amount of time just chatting with us. Since that time, my medical condition progressed further and I began to lose my hearing as part of that process. I'm lucky to live in MA where I have full coverage from the state medicaid that including hearing aids. We've purchased tickets to a few of your local concerts in the past few years but haven't been able to attend (twice due to hospitalization now). We're not able to get out much anymore so we've stopped attending concerts (infection risk!) so I never got the chance to tell you how incredibly moved I was by this video and your generosity. Your music and lyrics have brought great peace and happiness to us through the years. I don't know if you read or even personally receive these comments, but I wanted to thank you. I do hope this reaches you because I know personally how great is feels to know that your life and what you do actually reaches and touches someone during a difficult time. So thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And keep doing your thing because it's certainly working. -C
This made me cry. SO very few things can. Bless these people. The most wonderful is seeing the children and that on old woman who has tears in her eyes.
This was so beautiful and inspiring. I don't know what I would do without music. The gift of hearing, most of us take for granted. Thank you Matt for this wonderful song and inspiring video. It made me cry.
This is a fabulous video that perfectly represents what a Starkey hearing mission is all about. I was in Peru with the Starkey crew the week before Matt - I wish I'd been there a week later. Great work! I will share this on all my social networks.
I love this video so much. I was bullied at school. I am now homeschooled. I heard this song and resized it had the some of the perfect lyrics to describe by life. "I fell invincible with my headphones on" is the line that really describes by old life. When I was bullied I always put my headphones on and simply got lost in the music. The people who wrote the music didn't write any hurtful lyrics either. Since I moved from Minnesota I actually realized life started going up for once in my life. I now live by the beach, I am homeschooled, and have made some friends through my homeschooling program.
Yo soy de Huancayo - Perú... y quede muy conmovida por la labor que realizan, muchas gracias por el apoyo.... muchas bendiciones ustedes son esa esperanza ese lado humano solidario que ya no se ve .... Graciasssssss
This is amazing, I cried like a baby. It always amazes me to see some artists caring about people who didn't have the luck we have. I'm sharing the video for sure!
Yes tears at the joy these people show for something I've taken for granted. If I couldn't hear the voices of my grandchildren or children, music, wow, I can't even imagine. Beautiful thing they're doing.
Soy de Huancayo, wow realmente grandiosa la labor que hacen, felicitaciones a todo el equipo que estuvo a cargo, es increible las caras de algunas personas que probablemente escuchan por primera vez. Dios los bendiga. (I'm from huancayo and its really amazing what you do, congratulations to all the team that was in charge, there are no words to describe faces of people who probably hear for the first time. God bless you!!)
Yes. I see you looking. And yes, I'm still listening. December 2021. It's such a good thing to get to finally hear your surroundings after being in the dark silence for so long. 🖤
This is the kind of person I have a lot of respect for! This made me cry. You made these people so happy more then you know! I understand what they been going through. Without my hearing aid, I'd be living in total silence all the time.
Thank you for your great job! I'm from Puno - Peru and I really appreciate this, to you can go to Huancayo, cities to really need help in a lot of aspects... Again, thank you for your help in my country! Matt, you rocks!
I'm in tears....this is so touching. I take for granted at what I have, so to see people light up when they get back something they loss is just heartwarming.
Please keep doing what you're doing!!! As a mother of a hard of hearing child I thank God everyday for our great medical care which unfortunately not everyone has. A cause close to this mama bears heart.
This is amazing. It literally brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful to watch the true joy in peoples eyes and on their faces when they realized that they could hear (better) again. Great job Matt.
Heard the song on the radio. liked it right away. after watching the video, and now knowing what he has done, makes it even better. Its amazing to see how someone can make a difference. This guy is amazing. I wish the best for him in the future. He deserves it
Oh man... i was so happy the entire video and then towards the end when i saw you crying with the little kid i broke. This is awesome and you're a good dude for doing this.
A couple of weeks ago I heard it on the radio. Thought that I had heard it before. For some reason, I couldnt stop singing it in my mind, then I decided to search it here and found this life change video. It lifts me up! The reasok why he doesnt get too many views is simple: he didnt sign the pact, he serves to the light, to the good ones. the others serve the rain m*n. #Sencillo!
I now understood the meaning of the song. "Feel Invincible - with my headphones On". Awsome job. Touching video and inspires us to do something to make a difference in someone's life.
Soy peruana y huancaína. Matt, gracias por hacer visible las necesidades de tantas personas, y ojalá esas organizaciones nunca cesen en su trabajo. Bendiciones ❤
I am at work with tears streaming down my face, taking a moment to appreciate the bubble I live in. You are an inspiring individual. Thank you for all you do.
Such a moving, inspiring video! I was crying anyway, but when that one little boy made Matt cry, I really lost it. This was such an awesome thing to do. Matt, you rock!!!!!
So glad i've seen this video! Reminds me of the first time I saw somebody first listening! Can't avoid tears! ... Please share, donate, join the volunteers! :)
Such a beautiful project! As a lover of music myself, this video brought tears to my eyes; the looks of joy on the faces of those being served and those "in service" were visual music to me. Sending love and light to all who participated, especially my bro-in-law, Matt.
If you love music like I do then watch this ... There is so much to share ... We all live on the planet together, why can we all find more ways to show that love and respect - I hope music and love will bring peace around the world. Stop watching the news! Start loving your neighbors - help one person each day!
Matt your a wonderful person. May you be successful in your career. You have gave the best gift you could give to my people (Peruvians). Knowing first hand that we are one of many poor country's. Seeing this Video this morning has definitely moved me. thank you, please don't stop being you. Sincerely one of many fans, Jennifer Ngo
I've been obsessed with this song so I looked up the music video and I actually cried while watching this! So inspiring! Makes me love the sing a million times more!
I hope Matt and his team aren't disappointed with the amount of views or likes they got on this video. Thank you for making me cry for like two hours. Seeing Matt cry as that little boy heard for the first time. Fuuuck dude.

Their smiles, which made their ears come to be heard, are very nice.
At 02:32 when the woman starts to crying being so happy, just melted my heart. This is nothing but awesome.
What a poetic interpretation of the lyrics. I will never hear this song again without these images in my mind. Bravo, Matt and Starkey for an amazing mission and beautiful service.
While I know charities exist I never knew there was one like this that had an overwhelmingly positive impact on people's lives.
Matt there are no words to describe what you did for those people in Huancayo, you are a real hero, thanks for giving them happiness.
Amazing. Great work Matt.

I'm from Puno - Peru and I really appreciate this, to you can go to Huancayo, cities to really need help in a lot of aspects...
Again, thank you for your help in my country! Matt, you rocks!

Please keep doing what you're doing!!! As a mother of a hard of hearing child I thank God everyday for our great medical care which unfortunately not everyone has. A cause close to this mama bears heart.

The reasok why he doesnt get too many views is simple: he didnt sign the pact, he serves to the light, to the good ones.

I now understood the meaning of the song. "Feel Invincible - with my headphones On".
