Spurs should have got rid of him earlier . We hardly missed him last season and should have finished top 4 had it not been having to offer Man city a bye. All the times Spurs qualified for champions league, Kane was injured, yet he'd turn up at the finals and we'd lose. The champions league final a prime example. as bad as kane was this tournament, creating chances for our strikers has been a problem in general for england in the last year or so. Watkins barely got a kick against north macedonia last november or against brazil in march, or against bosnia in the warm up match to the tournament. He only touched the ball 3 times when he came on last night and didn't do much better than kane.

Harry was so fast getting back to midfield and defence, it a pity he plays upfront lol harry always goes missing in big games. Goal scoring is definitely the hardest part of football that’s why they get paid so much. No goals no trophies

He was absolutely not fit for the tournament despite scoring 3 goals. A true captain would let Palmer to play in the final. I've absolutely lost respect for Kane. He was on the bench after being substituted when we were 2-1 down and I looked at him like... what a failure. He's been in 5 finals in his career and did nothing.

About comparing Rice vs Rodri, am sorry mates, but Rice is.not anywhere near Rodri. Yes, Rice has the potential to be a top defensive midfielder, but lacks the experience and tactics to go to the next level.
Hopefully, with Arteta at Arsenal, Rice will grow and become a force in the England midfield in the years to come.

Kane worried about being labeled a quitter & worse yet if team did better without him in (which they did).
Crazy thing is USA Olympic Basketball team dealt with exact same thing with one of their stars who was clearly unfit.
Team just said his club AND the Olympic coaches agreed it was too risky for injury. To "protect" the player they sent him home.

Why do talk sport still insist on having the amateur toxic Rory on air 🤦. No mention of us taking 3 top right backs to the euros and then play Saka at right back, Spain focused their attacks on our unnecessarily weak right hand side, it is where both their goals came from plus many other chances.

Harry Kane is probably, legitimately 10x the footballer of Ollie Watkins. No one disputes that. And yet if Watkins played Kane's minutes in this Euro Tourney, England scores AT LEAST 5 more goals. I wholeheartedly believe that. Kane's lack of movement/mobility, and his lack of willingness to just be a #9 goal scorer was the main reason the English attack were so inept. Kane thinks hes a freaking midfielder, and the butterfly effect is how much it diminishes Jude & Fodens ability to be at their creative best. This team needs a TRUE #9, even if he isnt half as talented as Kane. The FIT is what matters.

Foden apart from 5 min against Holland was pathetic all TM. Walker at RB in back 3 was clueless. The oceans of space he left for both goals as well as the Spain attempt straight after their 1st goal was glaring errors.
Bellingham was average. Rice was average. Trippier was awful. Stones was iffy. Kane was abysmal. A lamp post would’ve showed more movement. Number of times Saka got behind the line of defence, put the ball in the 18 yrs box , no Kane , no Foden , or another player getting into the box
The biggest culprit is the rotten FA for picking these woeful managers and sticking with them forever. England squad was in their prime with host of establishment household names playing key roles at the biggest clubs in Europe. England were actually made pre tournament favs, yet Southgate played this rubbish style of non football and England only played one half of decent football all TM ( 1st half against Holland )
Don’t forget England also had the much easier half of the draw
