- Integrated engineering developed a new DSG tune refinement V2 that increases line pressure to the transmission to eliminate clutch slipping and fast and crisper shifts on the MK7.5 GTI.

That’s awesome! I have same exact car but in a 2 doors. I was waiting for years to finally have the 7 speed sounding like that! I think i will use IE tunes from now! Can you please make some more POV in manual mode? Cheers
Nice. Sounds really good.
just tune my GLI with version 2 and I felt a big difference, but I didn't do the adaptation, I will do it soon
@@galcantar08 what is the adaption?
@quiksilver330 it adjust the clutches and resets them. It’s pretty normal and should be done frequently
@@quiksilver330 is like relearning your shifts for smoother shifts
@galcantar08 so basically over time your car gets used to a certain way of shifting. So when you re tune you should do an adaptation so that the car learns with the trams
I connected my obd and nothing no new update for me and I have the DQ381 TCU tune … so I emailed their support to see why I don’t have it. Outside of the I have a MK7.5 R stage 2 FBO and love it I can only imagine what the V2 for our TCU will do
Well, I have a Golf R lol that’s why I don’t see V2 😂🤣
what's up bro how much did it cost you to tune the transmission I have another question for you how could you activate your performance monitor
The pops n bangs tho 😢 good vid otherwise, helpful overview
Stupid question. Do I need to buy don’t POWERlink with ecu and tcu tunes? Why does the website require me to add both when selecting tunes?
If your going with them for your first time you will need to buy the power link and a tune
If you already have a power link you just select the tune
what exhaust do you have on it or is this just with a downpipe?!?
@@trevorfernandez8986 this video was just downpipe but now we have AWE track exhaust
Is DSG adaptation necessary? When I updated to v2.10 I didn’t do adaptation.
Does this help with the laggy first gear feeling? You know what i mean like when you first step on the gas it feels slow and my car shifts slower in 4-6k rpm I’m hoping this would help
im is20 w downpipe, intake, diverter spacer and a catback + sneeky ecu tune
@@Mposts3 it would help for sure
@@jacobMMotorsportbut this is just the transmission tune right? I wouldn’t have to buy their ecu tune or anything else just the $500 dsg
@carterandquandaryhangingout yes you can buy either or I would highly highly recommend trans tune before you tuned your car but this is gonna solve your problem
Awesome! What exhaust configuration does it have?
Fully stock exhaust beside catless dp
Does the a dsg tune add the dsg farts back with the dq381 trans?
Yeah somewhat. There louder with an exhaust
Literally the video I’ve been searching for. I think this finally convinced me to tune my otherwise stock-ish 2019 GTI. Thank you! Do you have a list of mods anywhere?
Hey check out my latest video we threw the is38 on and it’s a blast highly recommended it dude!! I got some more stuff on the gti too!

@@jacobMMotorsport What are your thoughts on the shifting in regular “D” mode?
@@EG6chris couldn’t even tell that it’s tuned at all haha it feels like a Prius and as soon as you shift into s then it gets it!
you don't have to use battery charger for tuning transmission?
You should but our car is newer. We usually use a tender.
Does it still fart on up shift
Yup farts harder
How do I do the clutch adaption? The cable that came with the dongle from IE is usb c (goes into IE tuner) and the other end is a usb. I have a windows 11 brand new laptop and it doesn’t have a usb port, just usb c ports.
Get a double end usb c port
Is yours a 7 Speed or 6 Speed?
7
thank you! its so hard finding videos of the 7SPD. I Have one and the DSG Farts are not existent. WIth this you definitely hear it. I have a awe track exhaust and a intake. I wonder if the tune will help. @@jacobMMotorsport
@@kennethpottsjr.5023 tune will definitely help! As soon as I flashed IE revision where the put more pressure to the lines you could hear them
No dsg cracks on upshift? Or is this OPF?
It’s a dsg. It’s IE new tunes and makes it like that
@@jacobMMotorsport he asking why there are no dsg farts (the popping noise they make) on upshift
@@zoob4371 oh there is you just can barley hear it cause it’s a stock catback with catless dp
THE 7 Speed DQ381 trans in the 7.5 was known for not producing DSG pops as prevalent as the DQ250 Mk7 trans. Needless to say, if you want loud DSG pops, the 6 speed is the way to go.
