Thank you for the video. Even if I’m seeing this several months after your upload. Especially after 19:00 when you show the direct comparison, you can’t find that view on their website or on others’ videos
A correction, the pedal position is an input for determining the shift point. Both the 6 and 7 speed shift tables use APP as one of the two inputs for determining the engine/vehicle speed that a shift will take place at.
Hey cpo! I'm still subscribed from way back when your videos helped me a ton with my tricopter builds. Can't say I know what you're talking about in this video, but it's great to see you helping people with tech hobbies. Also digging the silver fox look haha!
Awesome stuff... I am in a 2015 Golf R EQT stage 1 and EQT TCU tune... But it was already on in when I bought the car almost a year ago... still learned stuff... Thanks
Thanks for this, great thorough video! Does the EQT tune rev match downshift all the way into 1st gear when you brake down to a stop? Loved the impression at the end, that’s exactly what I’m looking for! 😄
Thanks to you I ordered my dsg tune, i have stage 2 eqt with a off the shelf Cobb dsg tune, on S mode when I'm in Mexico flooring it the car feels so sluggish. I'm guessing it's cause I have two different tunes manufacturers one Cobb (dsg) other ecu (eqt) hopefully that fixes the sluggish feel on S on my car. Thanks again for the video so helpful
I have had the DSG since 2021 and its marked as version "v1.15" does anyone know if there is any update for DSG. I already got the updated v2.63 for my engine on 2019 GOLF R
Hey cpo i wondering why im not reaching 4000rpm for Launch Control and no boost eqt stage 2 and dsg tune without the cobb LC with my car up to temp???😕 do i have request the eqt launch control on the notes/comments section???😢
Ive got a 1.9 TDI BLS engine in my van. I'm the 3rd owner and I haven't tuned it yet because it seems like it already had one. It feels a lot more than 105HP 250NM and it launches hard
So I recently went with ie egineeeing's dsg tune and while I'm cruising not spirted driving it will hold 5th gear at 50 to 55 mph and the motor will be turning around 2,000 to 2,200rpm,does the eqt dsg tune do that as well? Or does it shift sooner while just cruising?
hello cpo my name is emmanuel and i have a jetta mk5 2009 2.0t fsi dsg. the previous transmission that my car had went to emergency mode and when i go to a dealership to fix it, they burned out my mechatronics. So i went to buy a new (used of course) dsg complete trans. so i installed and it went back to life. its my only daily car like you and i drove it now like 1000 miles on it and the problem that i notice is when i floor it slippage a little. i did not change the oil trans yet. do you think that it wil fix that with service or tune? thanks and awersome channel!
That’s tough. Could be that the clutch packs need to be replaced. You could always start with the fluid change and if that works you saved some money. But… I’d be worried it’s going to be more than that.
@@EVERYTHINGcpo OK. Thank you for your answers. Pity that you have to buy the tune ECU set to have access to the tune TCU. Very expensive finally just for TCU...
Like you talked about in the video, there is not a spot to type in your dsg ID when ordering everything at once. Would you put that in the comments/notes? or how do you let them know? thanks!

Enjoy the explanation in this video because I been wanting to tune me DSG with EQT
Excellent Vid. I have the EQT tune on my MK7 Golf R.
Your logs and explanations help it all make sense. Thanks.

This is amazing info, thank you for compiling

Hey man. Good to see you still hanging around. I still have that tricopter… but I don’t fly anything these days. One day maybe I can get back into it.

Can’t wait for launch control video!
Incredibly insightful! thank you so much for this video!
Very informative, love the content, keep it coming and keep it 👍👌

Thanks for the video. On another note, you must be near Tampa. I lived in St Pete for over 20 years, and home just has a certain look to it.
Good eye! I’m in Tampa!

Do you have any plans to do a video on cobb launch control vs stock? Very interested to hear your thoughts
Thanks so much for doing this for me and the others that begged you haha
Hahah. Happy to do it!

Very interesting !
I would like to acquire the DSG tune EQT without the tune ECU. Is this possible and what do i need?
Thank's.
It’s possible, but you will need the COBB accessport and the DSG unlock for it as well.

Can you put the TCU back into stock mode with the COBB access port
Yes
Hi, just wondering if you went through all the steps in the TCU Service in the access port to relearn everything after flashing the DSG tune.
Yes
Great job! Cool data.

I would put it in the comments and also send an email. Reply to your order confirmation with it.
Hi, did the tune help for turbo lag on dig?
Great video thx
With LC, there is no lag. Without, there is still a small lag as the turbo starts to build boost.
Can't believe it is building 20psi at launch!
Just get a kess v2 device and you pay 50 or so per file no need for all this expensive stuff
