i once bought the rocktron zombie, didnt listen to the reviews and the product description. i had a SS amp at the time, and the pedal wasnt nearly as heavy sounding or good as in this demo. guess a tube amp REALLY does make this pedal
I've had this pedal for a long time. they're great. I have to say it does particularly good live cutting through the mix. I use it in front of my jsx120 for a change in tone.
The Rampage and Silver Dragon were better. That said, the Silver Dragon shouldn't have been "two channels" cuz the "first channel" sounded like shit without the second added to it.

I had both Zombie and Rocktron Rampage. Rampage had a lot more organic sound. I liked it much more.

I've always been a big fan of the Boss "Metal Zone", but that's just personal preference when it comes to stomp box distortion.

I have the Boss "Heavy Metal" pedal from the early 80's, and I would suggest it to anyone and everyone.
theres no better distortion than that of a good tube amp ;)
for only costing a hundred bucks, this pedal sounds awesome!
Its about Ola's touch! Doesn't matter which pedal it is ..

You made these two sound better than I thought they did when I owned them. I prefered the Rampage and Silver Dragon.
this pedal is supossed to sound like the dual rec, what do you think ola? sound similar?

mid frequencies knobs on pedals fuck everything, that's why zombie sounds better then the metal planet
