  • This video is a continuation of my previous pencil and inking process. It
will show you my coloring process using Affinity Designer.
Since my Linearts / Strokes aren't close, I have to use the pencil tool to create objects and give color my linework.
After laying on the flat objects, I started to add shadows and highlights to polish the vector art. Then finished the artwork on Procreate to add effects.
I hope you enjoyed the video and learned something from it. #vector #art #colors
    Thank you very much! ^_^

Wow! From sketching with the pencil tool to inking, and now vectoring with color - this is AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing!! Would love to see more videos like this where you sketch, ink, and color, but perhaps something more simple for us amateurs. LOL

You kept on moving the colour wheel to pick up the colours for highlight and shadow. How can you ensure you are picking up the same colours?

for the shadow.. only 1 color.. desaturated blue.. then layer mode to multiply @ 32% or depends on your mood..
Same with highlight.. 1 color.. can be the same hue.. then screen mode.. then play with the opacity.
