Wow, Edmund, I thoroughly enjoy the way you teach, especially newbies like me! I am NOT a trained artist or an artist at all (well glass fusing is an art), but I just bought the Kamvas 13 Display tablet to hook up to my laptop so I could learn how to take line art I have that is not in a vector format, trace it, save as a vector image, and then color it as I want. I have researched that that is the only way to do it. I have some learning curves to get over, but all I want to know how to do is trace my image - presumably with my tablet, have it "saveable" on my laptop, and then color it. I used to have AI, but switched to the entire Affinity suite and use Designer mostly. Thank you for this video. Now I have to teach myself how to use my display tablet, and put the pieces together! LOL!

You kept on moving the colour wheel to pick up the colours for highlight and shadow. How can you ensure you are picking up the same colours?

I was not able to make the sharp edge on the hair by adjusting the pressure curve. Any specific stroke settings required ?

Is there a quick way to convert the whole image at once and just thicken the lines? I tried bringing in a png file and adding stroke thickness but it did not work.
