What's the difference between Kontakt and Kontakt player?

Kontakt Player is free, however, it only works with libraries that come with a serial number. Kontakt is the same, however, it has to be purchased . It allows users to create their own sampled instruments.

I will never understand why it is so complicated to install Kontakt libraries LOL I bought Kontakt 6 a couple years ago and still cannot figure out how to instal 3rd party libraries

Lol same here, i used to manage to install them on windows but i recently switched to mac and it has been really painfull.

I hate this program. It's so dumb the way you have to install everything and setup. It should have the capability to set up the basics and then for us to expand on it.
