    🔹 1/3 cup (60ml) extra virgin olive oil
    🔹 6 large eggs, separated
    🔹 1/2 cup (100g) sugar, divided
    🔹 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    🔹 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    🔹 2 tablespoons room temperature strong coffee, espresso, or 1 teaspoon espresso powder dissolved in 2 tablespoons water (optional)
    🔹 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
    🔹 Homemade whipped cream, fresh berries, chopped toasted nuts, or crushed amaretti cookies, for serving (optional)

      That seems a little iffy. We stopped making fresh eggnog for that very reason. Raw eggs - you're taking a chance...

    Nice recipe. Will try it one day for sure. As chocolat mouse is one of my family’s favourit dessert. Maybe a tip fot next time when making a merigue. The meringue is ready when you can turn the bow upside down without the merigue following out. 😉

      That's the same in most chocolate mousse recipes unless you used whipped cream
