    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад +1

      I wanted 35’s, but they weren’t available. Mine are 34.5” so essentially the same tire. Sizes will vary in price and you’ll have to stick with a width able to fit the stock width of the wheel.

    • @NothingButSilicone
      @NothingButSilicone Год назад +1

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed Okay, this is how little that I know about tires and sizes. Was talking to a guy from another channel. He said I could do 35x11.5 on my stock Rubicons, with no rubbing off road without a lift. He said Nittos came in that size. Which is the brand you got right? Oh well, I can wait. Only have 3k miles on my 33s, may as well wear them out a bit. He confused me though because he was saying I’d have to go with that size over a 35x12.5. So I was thinking that he meant I’d be losing an inch of surface traction over my stock tires. So I was bummed thinking I’d gain in inch of height and clearance, but lose an inch of surface compared to what I currently have. But now I’m thinking he was meaning that 35s normally come 12.5 right? My stock rims are only going to take 11.5s correct, regardless of wether they’re 33s, 34s, or 35s in spec right? So I wouldn’t be losing any surface or traction. If they’re currently 11.5, I wouldn’t be downgrading. They’d be the same, and I’d be gaining height. Am I correct?

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed
      @BrosFOURRSpeed  Год назад

      @@NothingButSilicone If the stock wheel you have is 7.5-8” wide (should be close to that). The tire needs to be able to accommodate that width.
      The most common size for a 35 is 12.5” wide. But they make other widths you can get. My 34’s are 12.5 wide and fit these stock wheels fine. So it is possible to fit them. Just need to double check.
      If you’re stock tires are 11.5”, you wouldn’t be loosing any surface area correct.

    • @NothingButSilicone
      @NothingButSilicone Год назад

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed Will it show that measurement on the sidewall of the tire? He did say that I could do a 12.5 with the stock rims, but that it wouldn’t be in spec and would likely wear faster. I just want to make sure I’m not losing any surface. If it’s currently 11.5, got no problem with going 35x11.5.

      Jeep's are one of the easiest vehicles to throw on larger tires without doing much! So my Jeep was at the stock height and with these 34x12.5's, I had no rubbing! The wheels are 17x9 -10 as well... If I had the stock fender flares, there might be slight rubbing maybe, but that would be about it!
