Cracking collection of shots Mike! I've just ordered this lens but have found it hard to find a good collection of footage from it...until I stumbled across your video. Great work!

Hi, Thanks for watching and for your comment. I'm pleased the episode was of some use to you. All the best Mike.
P.S. Your channel looks great, I have subscribed, not that I do weddings now as I am retired but I will find it interesting....

I like the look of this lens, both the 70-200 and sigma 100-400 are too big and heavy. The only issue is the lack of a tripod collar which might be an issue but there is a 3rd party collar you can get.

Hi Jasper, yes it’s a very good lens and not too heavy. I’ve been using it today for product pictures. Thanks for watching and all the best….mike

Nice video. What profile did you use recording this on your S5?

I ordered the 70-200 F4 for $892 US and the 70-300 F4.5-5.6 for $814 US. I'll compare them when they arrive, but which do you prefer?

Hi, I haven't used the 70-200 so can't comment on it but I would prefer to have the longer focal length, especially with the minimum being 70mm. Thanks for watching

I get the impression you had IS Boost on all the time as the shots were rock-steady when you were not panning. This would explain why movement got jerky the moment you tried to pan. IS Boost should only be used for shots where you are not panning or tilting. With IS Boost disabled, hand-held shots always have a bit of remaining motion in them giving them a hand-held look, or at least, that is my experience.

Yes Michael I did have the boost on all the time and was not intending on panning but describing what the effect of it was if done. Probably not very well explained or lost in the edit. Thanks for watching and your constructive comment, most appreciated, best wishes, Mike.

Hi Mike, thanks for your comment on the 90/180 day rule, I enjoy landscape photography and I shoot with Nikon Z7, just wanted to know if you do photography days whilst in Torrevieja?

Hi Phil, thanks for watching and for your comment. No, I don't do photography days in Torrevieja but I always bring my cameras when I go, mainly to film the "Between the Lakes" videos and I also enjoy taking pictures as a hobby when the mood takes me.
