Thanks for explaining that, working in a machine shop we always look for the cooling holes in the head gasket and we often see people still screw it up even though it says "front" lol
Hey great video. Learned a lot from it. I have a 61x (in a js550 hull) the water inlet line from pump comes into nipple on bottom of exhaust manifold, up through the water jackets in the exhaust manifold, through the cylinder, into the cylinder head, and then the port on top of the head… is that line supposed to go back to the bottom of the exhaust manifold next to that inlet nipple? Seems like it should be going into the exhaust pipe(maybe that nipple does?) thanks!

Yeah, sorry I guess that IS kinda a weird intro.....
So it would appear that you could run a 62t gasket with a 61x head b/c its so much more open. Just not the other way around.
We recommend using the correct matching gasket with head.
