Got a very large fibroid removed a week ago, April 25,2024. I have a C-section type incision. The first 2 days out of the hospital was rough. Trying to get comfortable in bed and walking hurts but today I finally see major pain reduction. Hang in there ladies. I cannot wait for see the changes in my energy levels ❤
Same case applies to me.. It's now 2months but the pain is still there
@@trizton9142 Really? You still in pain? How about now? I’m 4 weeks post op and I just have some numbness on my lower tummy and near the scar but no pain. I’m on the 3rd day of my first cycle after surgery and it is less painful and the flow is not nearly as heavy as it was before. Hope you heal soon
Did mine two days ago.
Just left the hospital yesterday. My abdominal myomectomy was done 6/6/24. It is very difficult trying to find a good position to sleep and walk. The medicine given helps. I'm glad it's finally done and now I can proceed with trying to conceive. God Bless and Speedy recovery for All!!🙏🏽💖🙏🏽

Just had this done yesterday and I'm still in the hospital in some pain. On pain killers right now. Glad I did it though
What does the pain feel like? Is it cramping like a painful period? I'm curious because I'm thinking of getting this procedure done

How did you feel after the surgery 😢. Is it painful?
I had my UFE March 14 2024- and yes it’s very painful- of course i got painkillers but I don’t know what is worse- stomach pain or “effects “after pills.
How is your healing going? Are you able to move around or resting in bed ?
Had mine on the 4th November 2023 😊 it will be my 5th month end of March
I took mine of in January 25th 2024. Still recuperating, my cut was quiet long

I had a hysterectomy March 19, 2024 . Mine was in the uterus. Terrible pain and bleeding. I’m in my healing process , hoping to feel better soon !
Did you only bleed like a heavy period? I'm getting a total hysterectomy on Thursday for a fibroid in my uterus. I've been bleeding since March 14th and stopped when I was taking a pill for 21 days to stop the bleeding. Now I'm bleeding again nonstop.
What were your other symptoms?
@@ShansBackyardGarden I was having terrible pains on my lower right side. I couldn’t move around a lot bc it would hurt so bad . Plus my periods were irregular and bleeding heavily / lots of blood clots !
I was diagnosed back in 2014. I went from an average woman kyacking in the ocean to wearing black pants and diapers everyday for months and months. Tired, annoyed and wanted to just die from all the accidents to just staying on the toilet. After I had the procedure done. I was back to normal.

I was diagnosed with uterus fibroid six months ago and my surgery is next week I’m so nervous about it I’m so glad that my GP for taking me serious because the amount of pain I was going through was unbearable

I had 5, one that was 15cm. It greq rapidly in a few months. Treated really badly by coworkers in my previous role.

What procedure are they talking about in this video? Im confused. I never heard them say the name of the procedure.
I am dealing with one now that it's 28cm I've had blood transfusions 5 times. I experienced Tachycardia and I'm in complete misery . It's definitely not a life. It gets really scary at times I'm 40 now and it gets worse

Same here not something us woman have to go through, needing to get blood supply. I’m glad I decided to fix mine on 1st March 2024.

I had 4 removed 20.6.24, finally home trying to recover.
I'll be having surgery soon to have a 10cm one removed. I've been complaining of abdominal pain for years to several different doctors. One doctor finally took it serious. They thought my appendix was about to rupture, it turned out to be a fibroid.
I'm scheduled for surgery as well.. I pray for a speedy recovery..
