Congratulations on the new truck. You are a multi-talented & multi-tasking lady. Love your attitude and how you interact with your audience, Gabe and his boys. Thanks for all your hard work.

I am sick and using my down time binging old videos of Kelly and Gabes. It’s so nice to watch them fall in love on both their channels. It’s like watching a rom com mixed with a wilderness video. I love you both so much!
I used to catch triops in the tire ruts of our alley after big rains in the Texas panhandle, I’ve bought them for my boys, now it will be time to get some for my grandkids! They can last for decades in arid places till the time and circumstances are right.
Kelly . Congratulations on your new truck… It’s a beauty ! Great video..loved the way the crabs transferred over to the new 🐚… Keep up the great content and excellent videos 👍🏻
My grandmother used to say at the end of the day go over what you accomplished and you'll be surprised how much you did❤🙏 I love the vlog style videos Kelly and your content is always family friendly. Shout out to Paul Thigpen, perhaps the nicest human being to ever own a dealership, beautiful truck❤
I've slathered mayo over an entire turkey and added herbs before smoking. The mayo basted the bird and sorta glued the herbs to the skin, which turned out beautifully golden. Tasted great too! BTW, the fruit didn't fall far from the tree, mom's still rockin it
I was on vacation and when I came back I was catching up on videos and while I was watching another video, I saw yours pop up and I immediately left that video because I thought this would be such an interesting video. I wasn't disappointed!
Gorgeous NEW TRUCK Kelley!!! Can't wait to see what kind of adventures you get into with it!!! Your Schnitzel looked really good too!! My Wife (who sadly passed in 2018) liked to experiment with salts, some of her favourites were Hawaiian Alaea Salt which is dark pink and really good, there is also Black Lava Salt from Hawaii and Cyprus black salt. I hope this helps you on your culinary path!!
Like your new truck. I'm like Hermit Crabs switching shells, do what. That was actually pretty cool. Love the compassion you put into what you do whether its diving, hunting or even giving Hermit Crabs new homes. Take care. Enjoy that truck you've earned it.
Hiya Kelly, hey I'm from South Louisiana, we take our crab pots and put them in the sun for a couple of days. And then you take them to the car wash, and wash them with soap, once you've cleaned them very well, make sure you get all the soap out and rinse them very well, put them in the sunlight and let them dry, and after they've dried, now they are ready for fishing, that's what we do every year and it works great 👍, good luck and catch those blue crab 🦀😉. I hope you have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 😸🐟out! O, I'm a Cajun from South Louisiana.
awe poor Kelly, she was ready to be fed a bite at 25:06 she was ready to lean in and got psyched, you could see her posture and eyes. Kelly you should have Bluegabed that first bite LOL
Thanks you very much. The wife had some pork loins in the fridge for supper tonight so after watching this video there was only one way to cook them tonight. The schnitzel was great with the fresh picked asparagus I found in the ditch on the way home this afternoon.
Just happened to watch one of your videos from a year ago. Huge difference and you seem to be more comfortable in your work. I say work because I know you and Gabe work your a..es off. So I thank both of you.

Looks like the Bar out here in Coos Bay, Oregon on a good day. And the wind, that's normal for us anywhere from 10 to 30 with 45 mph gusts, almost year round. You really need to come out here to fish for Salmon, Ling Cod, Yellow Eye and Striper in the surf.
We just got back from Galveston. We caught crabs in the larger crab traps, casting crab traps and what I call sandwich traps. Our best catches were in the ones like your large traps. We used pinfish and croakers and what I called the secret ingredient. I used a tin of tuna in oil. The tuna can had a poptop and I would only open the can a little so all tuna and oil would not come out very fast. We caught a whole lot of crabs. Hopefully this helps. I could have used your help with our new rods, reels and braid. We bought the Beyond Braid 20lb in the camo color before I knew they were running a special. I told my husband we were going to learn a new skill. Oh did we ever get into some "fun" with our new skills. Oh, my. Talk about newbies. You would think we had never fished before. We did catch a ton of pinfish, croakers, whiting and those awful hard-headed catfish. Some time I hope you and Blue Gabe will show how to rig rods and cast spin cast rods/reels. I have tried watching videos but very few show how to's for us who have never tried saltwater fishing. It really is a new experience and experienced anglers forget how to teach us learning a new skill. It is like learning to drive a car for the first time and we need extra time and help.
Nice truck, congrats. I have never used a crab pot. I always use a line and a chicken neck in Virginia. However, in doing some research I would suggest going into areas that have grass beds growing in about 5-6 feet of water. The crabs use the grass as cover and food. I used to catch them in salt water creeks i could get a 5 gallon bucket full in a couple hours. The triops is an interesting species. I thought they were brine shrimp but found they are a freshwater species and very cannibalistic. Thanks for the impetous to look them up.
Spent 6 years in Germany the bier was great but the food is what I miss most. Rahm Schnitzel mit Pommes was always a favorite but there was so much more to german food than schnitzel. Never had a bad meal there!!!!!!
So for schnitzel I also instead of butter sometimes I’ll use a thin layer of peanut oil and then add some rosemary or time to the peanut oil like you would for a steak in there looking for a nice extra flavor to the schnitzel also grapeseed oil works really good as well as another alternative to butter. Great video sorry I’m seeing it late. Be well Be you.

Kelly I'm an old dude but I absolutely loved this video. The trip through Nautical but Nice was fun especially with the island music playing in the background
Try chicken necks/backs in the traps for the blue crabs. We used to always use that when I was a boy fishing/crabbing in Lake Pontchartrain. Never failed us.
Awesome truck and great video! I've noticed the same thing with those little crab pots too. They are the only traps I've never had luck with. Identical to the ones shown. People keep mentioning bait but there's nothing wrong with the bait... I just think they don't sit flat on the river bottom or stay stationary enough to not scare off the crabs. I am going to try zip-tie two of them together, side by side, and see if they will catch crabs that way because that should make it good and heavy, while laying flat on the river bottom. I'll catch them all day with the half size pots and I'll catch the most with he full size pots. Worst case, I'll just take the two apart and make one half size pot out of them. I love crabbing down here. I go on the St Lucie River because the Loxahatchee has gotten a little overrun with crab pots(it's insane lol). You and Gabe should come crabbing with me on the St Lucie. Combine the catch from all of our crab pots and we can have a FEAST! I'm local, just done in the Gardens, so if interested let me know
Looks delicious I’m totally making this! I hope I can find the video of your little prehistoric friend! And thank you so much for the crab footage! That was so cool! 🤗👍

I used to have a couple of small half traps and a couple full size. The full size would load up with Crabs while the small ones wouldn't catch anything. Not sure why, but the full size traps just tend to catch better.
Pick a crabbing area near your home. Start with a 5 in PVC and make a chum holder that has a 1lb weight in it. Drill holes in it and drop in several of these by ur traps. The chum can be anything that you throw out of tge kitchen ( organic) waste that is. After a while of doing that you will always fill traps.
