Yes, we've literally seen your kids grow up and marry, and I for one was happy to be there for it. Your family is living the life I long for but am not able to, financially and physically, and you all feel like friends I don't know. Newyearsgreets from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Ya know, in the country we live in and on all the social media platforms there is non stop flow of dramas. So speaking for myself, I find your videos refreshing. My grandfather had a Dairy ranch and grew his own feed for the cows and I loved being there and working with him taking care of the livestock as well as all the other projects that running the farm entails. So Red Poppy is my way of escaping back to a bygone age.( by the way, I'm 75 years old) So Thanks a lot for sharing your adventures it means a lot.
Love watching your channel . What you have achieved even in the time I’ve been following you . Which I think is over 5 years . Thanks for what you do . I know there are a lot of us would love to have your lifestyle defo me . Far too old and worn out to do it now . So happy to watch others do it . Regards Martin in the UK x
Martin, I don't know how old you are but I started a 51 years old. Moved of grid with 40 chickens and put in a missive garden. This channel has been one of my inspirations! Your never to old to do something. Chickens are easy and fun, a small garden, you will taste the difference! Start small. Hardest thing I have ever done but the most rewarding! Take care my brother! The Lonely Homesteader!
You are an inspiration and although i could not do half of what you have achieved you have given me so much joy watching all your endeavours and achievements God bless all of you. 🙏❤️🙏
I am one of those people who have hung around from the beginning because like Shadow I know good people when I meet them. You came into my life after the death of my son and I will always be grateful to you and your family 🙏💞. I have always loved your uses of your leaf blower but I have become fond of your skid steer 😂👍
That is one fluffy black cat! I just love him to bits! Shadow is an Excellent name and fits him well! I tune in to see what you are getting into and am not disappointed so far! I started watching just as you had finished drying in the house and seen both siding and porch options as well as the garage go from a concrete wall to the beautiful shop it is now! Great work, Heath!
You have to change the name of the channel to Red Poppy Garage… loved your channel from the beginning but have grown tired of you fixing another” last truck I’ll ever need”.
I would write down the VIN off the superduty you are using for the swap so when you need replacement suspension and/or axle parts you can look them up by VIN... Save you some future headache
Been watching your videos for 4yrs. Started during the pandemic and looking for wholesome AND entertaining viewing. Thank you so very much for that!! 💜
Personally my favorite part of your videos is when you are working on the buildings and then family stuff. But It's fun to see how excited you get with each new vehicle you buy and fix up, and then trade in. It seems to bring you a lot of joy in life. I hope you will show more of Cedar's home and decoration projects, especially around holidays.
Heath, Let’s just start with.. every episode is entertaining, it’s amazing to see the details of building an amazing life for your family when many people just dream of it. It’s great you can also incorporate your problem solving interest in cars/trucks into episodes to show, “well, this is something that interests me and I like it.” It shows the balance and humanity that you have where you are able to do so much and still find a few minutes to make something cool, well work and still be cool. Your show has had an impact on me in more ways I can explain and I can’t wait very Sunday to see what is going up there at Red Poppy Ranch.
Love watching your channel. The kids growing up. I happened up on it and got hooked. You’re a good husband and father. Taking the time with them. I enjoy watching you build things.❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy New Year.
To you and your family, thank you for your dedication, creativity, and the countless hours you've invested in bringing us entertaining and valuable content. Your passion shines through, and it's truly appreciated by all of us. Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with love, positivity, and endless possibilities.
I for one enjoy all the videos especially this build. I still have my 1973 F-100 and hope to do something with it after I get a few projects done first. I love fabricating my own equipment for snow removal on my land, not just to save me thousands of dollars, but I can build it just the way I like it with all the comforts that a store bought system doesn't have. Keep that camera rolling, I'll keep watching. Cheers from Sask, Canada.
you should build a shed around tanks and provide some heat via solar like you did before, you may want to sandblast and prime and paint frame while you get a chance #prime numbers
Happy New Year to all. I was shocked that you did not fit a correlated multilevel splatter guard box eliminator from the '70s model, they were so effective.
Hello Heath and family, Happy New Year I hope you guys experience much joy and happiness over the coming year. The truck project is turning out well from just seeing the last shot of this video, stay safe, God Bless, thank you
It's been over two months since you released a proper building video. I'm starting to think that the two bedrooms and the shop bathroom won't be finished until the summer time this year.
Please don't use POR15. You're better off just using Rust-Oleum. He is a very detailed video another RUclipsr made covering such things. ruclips.net/video/TABWPHutk-A/видео.htmlsi=oxyaCRYuxG010t7r
How about dragging the propane and oxegen bottles into the shop and letting the guages and torch thaw out??. I like watching this big truck project. Use a hair dryer on them. This truck should be more better or more gooder I would say. with the leaf spring reverse shackle should be awesome. I cant wait here what you think after you drive it.
Loving the content but do have one exception, Shorts. Hate them with a passion, sorry. Your regular content for me is a great balance. Your farm husbandry with the animals and working the land, your building projects, your automotive projects. Even just the snow clearing seems relaxing to watch. 🙂 Hope you and your family had a fantastic new year and wish you all well. All the best wishes for 2024.
Hi, your videos are great! I especially enjoy the truck fabrication ones. I would recommend you try "cam lock, v-bar" chains. The cam locks are so much easier, quicker and longer lasting than using the elastic rubber "spiders". I live in BC's Cariboo region and used them to get through 3 feet of snow last winter.
Heath, you might want to check out “The Repair Geeks” latest YT posting on paints for rust. POR 15 came out quite poorly. The best paint by a wide margin was MasterCoat AG 111. I hope you have a good new year!
some videos not entertaining enough??? Nay!!! I, like others, enjoy watching someone who appreciates honest hard work and the beauty of God’s creation. Stay safe, live long and prosper.
I have consistently watched your videos over the past 2-3 years. Often in a given week, this may be the only videos or TV I watch at all. I find your problem solving, hard work and accompanying commentary to be... trying to search for the right explanation, therapeutic, relaxing, a refuge of hard work and common sense commentary in a world full of fast media that is overly dramatic and materialistic. Whatever the magic sauce you use to capture your journey, keep doing what your doing! Thank you!
Yup, you’re right, not the most ‘entertaining’ but I don’t watch just to be entertained. I live where it’s almost always 20 degrees Celsius or hotter and watching your videos particularly during your winter is very interesting for me to see how the other half lives. By the way it’s currently 8:30 pm and 30 degrees Celsius - toasty !!
The height looks good and you got rid of the TTB axle. Im not a ford fan, I like cummins and GM. Did a similar front spring setup on my Sub thats getting a 6BT. Nice to see you working "IN" the shop too.
Hey Heath - Watch and enjoy every video. For what it's worth, we regard you like a neighbor. Regard you as if you lived next door. And would welcome you and the family just the same. Thanks again & great job with truck.
John 1:12-13 King James Version 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Gods blessings over you .
Think I've been watching since very beginning, its you and your families journey / adventure / learning curve, we are purely along for the ride. Sharing all the the twists & turns; good and bad times; and hopefully giving you good advice on the rare occasion you listen.
I just looked through the playlist to see when I started watching and wow I’ve been watching you for 6 years! I started watching because of the Red Bull nose and the rest of your videos intrigued me so I stayed watching and I’m so glad I did. I love the truck building the most but all of your videos are amazing. From watching your family grow up and move out to starting from nothing and seeing where you are now. So happy I followed along this journey.
Don't know if anyone suggested this, but you might consider spraying a rubber sound-proofing material underneath your new welded floor. It can help with noise and might protected from rusting again. Thanks for posting your 'boring days' for us. Gives us a distraction from our projects and lets us all know that we need to get busy with our projects, even when the weather is bad!
"We" well me and I believe many others like the diversity of fabricating, farming, ranching and building that you do that's real life. Keep on keeping on.
There are unsubscribing people from the channels I just checked my subscription to you and it’s not there. I just subscribe it again. Tell people RUclips it’s doing this.
Holy cow. I got real busy last year and didn't get the time to watch your videos like I wanted. I decided to get caught up during the Christmas break starting with the last video I watched which was 11 months ago. 62 videos later, I just got caught up. Watched every minute of every one of them. Thank you for the high quality entertainment and to heck with those reels and shorts.
In hot air ballooning, we have to have our propane at 80-100 psi. As you know, that doesn't occur naturally when it's really cold out. Some of us have equipment to pressurize our tanks with nitrogen. We can do that because we draw wet from the liquid level. Most propane use is drawn from the top or the vapor area. I wonder if you could put a boost tank, so to speak. Pressurizing that tank with nitrogen, then drawing from the liquid level in to the main tank, thereby boosting its pressure in the cold season
Heath, please check the hose for the propane gas. Be sure it is marked with R or T. Most twin hose is, but not all. The rubber in lesser quality hose will begin to leak propane after some time. Please check, because I really like to watch your videos. If you haven't used propane before I think you will find it works fine for 1/2" and thinner steel but heats a little slower on thicker sections.
Over the years watching, you are living the best life( in my mind) one day I will do what I would like to do and enjoy the life. Thank you from your northern brother. Ps you have more snow then us ......
Happy new year mate, yep back here in Austrailia I live where we never see snow, we don’t have rain dear, we don’t build sheds and houses like you have, to see the conditions that you work in through out the year, so much more extreme, so why do i watch you every week, we’ll that’s a good question??? Oh Australia dose have snow but not in Western Australia and we do have dear but there different, just to clarify that, we face a hole lot of other challenges, through out the year, but in general I can’t wait to see what projects your going to do next, I’m also very impressed with how you managed to do so much on your own I’m 65 now and I’m struggling to do more than a few hours at a time with out rest, I’m not a workaholic, so I really have to push myself, harder than ever before, so watching your work ethics help me to stay motivated and keep getting out there and getting my projects done, but at my pace, you inspire me to keep going and stop procrastinating, yep I’m one of your subscribers that’s been watching you build that ranch as ya call it since the beginning, and I look at the things you have achieved in that time and just appreciate your capabilities and achievements so good on ya mate, oh I like the philosophy, on life your words of wisdom, your outlook on things, and no I don’t agree with everything and in the end you fix them up , it’s called learning by doing, and excepting that your going to have to change it if it doesn’t work, and that shows good caricature, no one is perfect, but some of us prove to others that all things are possible in Him, and you operate in Faith, and failure just means get up and try again to you, so thank you for the inspiration that i get from seeing you never giving up, your a winner 🏆 cheers 🍻
No need for a different cutting tip or gages. I've been using propane for a long time cutting thick steel and it works just as good as acetylene. You'll like it...alot cheaper.
Should try a screw jack with a cordless drill - have a couple of posts I sit mine on & way less effort than using a lever. Perhaps a 3ft Acro prop as an adjustable post.
Of all your vids, the ones with a lot of car projects are my least favorites, but, seeing you doing so much work on anything you got in your mind is inspiring. And yes, i am one of those who watched all your vids, stay warm, be safe and please start building something soon ;)
It seems to me after following you from the beginning, that you have plenty of time to complete ALL of your “have to do” and most important projects in a timely manner. The problem is that you are constantly starting new non-important projects and, often times you then include those in your “have to do” project with time limits. In doing this you have several projects going on at the same time and pushing out projects further and further into the future, and spend more time on the projects you enjoy. I’ve never seen anyone that almost gets to the end of a project then stops for months, or longer because you start working on other things. I do the same thing, but not to the extreme you do, or the number of open projects you have at any given time. My wife would be on my back more than she is now!
Heath, I was hollering at your video at 9:16, do a wheelie, Heath, do a wheelie. Sure enough, you didn't let me down! lol 👍 We all love your sense of humor! Your music choices for this video was excellent!
I love how the truck is looking. This has been great so far. And we enjoyed meeting Shadow. We hope you guys had a happy new year! See you in your next video.
Every year I see you clearing snow of all of your vehicles. This must take up hours and hours of your precious time. I often wonder why you haven't built some kind of awning to shelter them or put them inside your workshop
You should beef up the tip of the frame, having experience with fords myself they tend to flex and bend, something like you did with the project dodge truck
Feeder moving... Get a long ratchet strap. Standing at the end of the feeder, run the strap around both legs, and up under the vee portion. Attach it to itself. Leave a large enough loop outside the end of the feeder, to wrap it up over your shoulder, or behind your back. Now you can lift and drag at the same time,. and that feeder will move a whole lot easier than the pure manhandling that you are doing now. =0)
The deer are probably about as docile as they can be now Heath. The truck project is moving along but I have my reservations . Will we see this driven down the road or be used for a trade in . The last five years I’ve seen many projects come and go but mostly go my friend. Let’s all take a ride in this one as you have a vision we have yet to see. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya.
I used to have a black cat named Shadow. Heath, I'm continually inspired by your videos. If I was your neighbor, I'd be that guy that wanted to jump in an wrench with you. I love seeing the weather in your area. My Dad was from Pocatello and we have family property in NE Idaho and I have a daughter in North Idaho. I'm a USU grad and have a lot of family history in your area. I'm now retired in Florida and love living vicariously through you back in SE Idaho.
Yes does not matter what content or project your doing i will still watch.Shadow is at home it seems ,I have four that live and i feed in my garage so i had to make a way for them to come and go my lady friend said i was crazy. The truck is coming along good not a ford fan but that's ok .Great video thank you for sharing well done.
It is starting to look like you are going into the scrap metal business?!!? Whenever I see you do your smart-ass wheelies on the skid steer I stop watching and give the video a thums-down.
You might want to look at the power steering pump on the we plow truck. She's a tad bit noisy. I had a 1990 and it sounded the same way before she blew.
I quit watching a long time ago because i was interested in your projects, instead I watched because you are an example of the man I feel we all need to be as Americans. It went from me being interested in your lifestyle and watching to me and my family watching cuz i feel we all need to watch and learn from your ethics and morals. I have become a man with a dream to a man building his dreams. Its not easy but no matter how many times i fall down i get up, learn and move forward again. We need more like you and your family.
I really think you should invest in a truck driven snow blower, to take the snow into the fields away from the road instead of just piling it sideways until it clogs the road.
How much does that propane in the bobtail (or any tank stored under such conditions) actually liquify and lay mostly in the bottom of the tank as a liquid?
Yes, we've literally seen your kids grow up and marry, and I for one was happy to be there for it. Your family is living the life I long for but am not able to, financially and physically, and you all feel like friends I don't know. Newyearsgreets from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Well said and Happy New Year from the USA 🙏❤️

I just love him to bits!
Shadow is an Excellent name and fits him well!
I tune in to see what you are getting into and am not disappointed so far!
I started watching just as you had finished drying in the house and seen both siding and porch options as well
as the garage go from a concrete wall to the beautiful shop it is now! Great work, Heath!
The bad days make the good days better. I've been impressed by your perseverance and ability to make these things work.
Red Poppy time, my favorite show of the week!! Your videos always make me smile!
You have to change the name of the channel to Red Poppy Garage… loved your channel from the beginning but have grown tired of you fixing another” last truck I’ll ever need”.
HEY! Hello Red Poppy and thumbs UP!!
hey guys. got here earlier than normal. thanks for the usual sunday video.
I would write down the VIN off the superduty you are using for the swap so when you need replacement suspension and/or axle parts you can look them up by VIN... Save you some future headache
I've been watching your videos since you were clearing the land where you live and enjoyed every episode. I love the progress on the "Franken Truck."
Happy New Year. Looking forward to Red Poppy Ranch stories for 2024
I have never missed a video in all these years

A+ Farm Truck Rebuild (!!) Idaho COLD Weather coming for outdoor projects / Deer seem to be getting more at home
Wouldn't miss a video. Look forward every week to watching. I can't think of one that wasn't enjoyable.
(4:12) Informative and instructive is valuable. Entertainment not so much. #craftsman #skills #DIY
Heath,
Let’s just start with.. every episode is entertaining, it’s amazing to see the details of building an amazing life for your family when many people just dream of it. Loving the truck project, it almost parallels my own. '67 F250 longbed Clubcab on a '94 F250 7.3 turbo'd. Love ya'll ❤️
Heath are you going to reinforce underneath the floor pan with cross braces?
NICE mustache!!!!!!
Your narration is entertaining and keeps things fun. Happy new year!
Sir there is somthing growing under your nose 😂😂😂😂😂😂,look great 👍👍👍
Love the build on the Moustache too!
Hi from England keep safe and God bless you all
The first video that I saw of yours was moving the concrete retaining walls for the propane tank. I've been coming back since.
To you and your family, thank you for your dedication, creativity, and the countless hours you've invested in bringing us entertaining and valuable content. Your passion shines through, and it's truly appreciated by all of us. Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with love, positivity, and endless possibilities.
Enjoy your videos but most of your music is annoying.
i dont waste my time watching your shorts or anyone elses.

Shadow is adding an architectural touch to your fence line in the snow.
Don’t stress about the content Heath. I watch because I like you and your family. The content is secondary.😀
Thank you for the longer format videos sir! I don't watch any short content.
Happy New Year to all.
I was shocked that you did not fit a correlated multilevel splatter guard box eliminator from the '70s model, they were so effective.

WOW! that new reinforced floor & firewall looks like you are ready to run "The Gauntlet", Clint Eastwood style. Just saying. Art in Calif.🤓

Heath, loving the 70's Porn star stache, the best to you and all the family, thank you for all the videos, hardest working man on RUclips
If those are the 'biodegradable' type shipping peanuts, put them in some water. They should just dissolve. Not all of them do, though.

Watched every “single” video? Well I think I watched multiple videos several times…….so I failed.
Your build looks awesome. Happy new year. Have fun in the 🥶. It was 33 last night in Phoenix 😮
Happy new year to you and your family is glad to see the truck coming together day by day
My husband and I look forward to your videos each week. Happy New Year from Northwest Montana.
I love how the truck is looking. This has been great so far. And we enjoyed meeting Shadow. We hope you guys had a happy new year! See you in your next video.
Nice work 👍👍👍, a lot higher off the ground I see , what color of paint, 40 inch tires? Any lockers in the axles?
Thanks for the entertainment. Did we sell the plow truck from last year's videos that you built from your son's rollover?
The deer are probably about as docile as they can be now Heath. The truck project is moving along but I have my reservations . Will we see this driven down the road or be used for a trade in . The last five years I’ve seen many projects come and go but mostly go my friend. Let’s all take a ride in this one as you have a vision we have yet to see. Be careful and stay safe my friend God love ya.
When setting jack stands, Please get your legs and body out from under when shifting load. Your safety comes first.
You're really building up a nice big scrape pile that any legitimate farm should have.🤠 Art in Calif.🤓
Place a removable feeder cover over the feeder.
How much does that propane in the bobtail (or any tank stored under such conditions) actually liquify and lay mostly in the bottom of the tank as a liquid?
Suggest butyl caulk rather than silicone. It stays plyable for years. As the truck flexes so does the caulk.
