Yes, Liszt was really hardcore. He was so violent with the piano that when he played this piece that the piano strings broke before he even finished. So they after some tests, they had concluded that Liszt needed 3 pianos to finish this piece. So whenever they heard he was gonna play Campanella, they prepared 3 pianos on stage so he could run to the next piano whenever the strings on one of them broke
