aCtUaLlY 3/4 aNd 6/8 ArE DiFfErEnT
for that actually care, 3/4 is broken into 3 groups of notes, whether it be 3 quarter notes, 3 pairs of eighth notes, etc
6/8 is 2 groups of notes, so 2 dotted quarters, 2 groups of 3 eighth notes (that feel similar to triplets), etc
