I went there 5 months ago for a Week omg 😲! Paradise ⚠️ ALERT!!!! It was my first time in Cuba 🇨🇺 People were SOO nice ! The sea 🌊 💙 the beach was just straight out of a Screensaver. We are trying another Sanctuary in few weeks because I liked it so much !! 🇨🇦 The cubans are welcoming 🙏🏻non harrassing ( like other unnamed caribean location) & polite 😊
Recommendation: for comfort bring pillow covers ( its humid !) - electric plug converter , face small towels , bug spray & a thin type beach towel. Although they have very nice navy towels they'll take forever to dry.
Was just there, excellent resort, terrific management, lots of hot water, food was good with lots of places to eat at and even a butler for the rooms. Amazing beach!
I have been there once about 5 yrs ago. I noticed that the beach is getting rather narrow, its too bad I do like this resort, as you do have some nice private beaches for clothing optional if you dare,
Very little is explained at Memories/ Sanctuary. Wasn't even expecting them to include it in the price. Supposedly they give 5 hours for each person in a room, and depending on who you ask on the info, you can keep getting more
Went there in December 2019 before the pandemic. Was ok but nothing exceptionnal for the extra money you have to pay for that section of the MEMORIES. We prefer way much more the STARFISH wich just reopened November 15, 2022.
@@zochbuppet448 Never said the STARFISH is new sir. STARFISH and MEMORIES got built at the same time and were all part of the BARCELO complexe before. But today i find STARFISH way much better than MEMORIES.

Hi wondering what’s the WiFi situation here? Do they have it in your room and hotel lobby/beach? How’s the speed and is there time limit. Thanks!!
We had it in the lobby and in our room and had to update the password every 5 hours of use. The speed was pretty good.

Doubt that Starfish is new. They are just renaming the Hotels.
They are now doing some type of reorganizing now with the memories sections.
