It's not really about judging. Telling someone that you share same beliefs with that this is right, or this is wrong is not judging. Telling you stealing or murder is a sin is not judging... let's just tell ourselves the honest truth: we pick what we want to pick from the Bible, the nice stuff, and drop what we don't like. That's just the part I have an issue with. I'll still say, God loves all of us and because He does, we as well ought to love everyone of us! My issue is just the picking out what you like from the Bible and then damning the one you don't like. Peace.

People say we’re not supposed to judge. The Bible says we’re not supposed to condemn, but we are to edify our brothers and sisters in the faith. People build the types of faith that works for them and it worries me because that’s not how it works. Your comment was very spot on. Adrienne is definitely in a tough position as a Christian & being on a day time television show when it comes to religious topics, one wrong statement & the whole internet will cone for you. I agree with Layla Lynn TV when she said she believes it's part of the reason why Tamera left the show as well to concentrate on her "family" & the "Winery". It seems like you can't truly be yourself without the "top" people saying things in your ear, like Amanda stated previously, hence the reason why she left the show, with that being said God is Love.

I don't necessarily believe that she is in a tough position. Outside of religious topics she has on countless occasions made comments that make some Christians question her "Christianity". In several girl chats she has basically said it's okay to tell a lie in certain situations. In the girl chat about three-somes , she was somewhat saying it's okay and giving advice. Before she got married, she always raved about sex as if fornication/pre-maritial sex is okay but in one of her wedding videos she spoke about her and Israel abstaining from sex while they were dating. I say this to say that she has been inconsistent where her Christian values are concerned. It also seems that she is conforming to the world as opposed upholding her "Christianity".

What an interesting episode. This is what I believe. I think people should not judge other people’s lifestyles especially when it comes to relationships. I think God gives us guidance of how to live our lives but he also allows us to have freedom of choice. A lot of Christian’s struggle with the idea of loving everyone including the gay people. You don’t need to agree and support their choices but I think it’s important to love them and treat them with the same respect you would treat everyone else. 🙂

She seems to be a sweet, kind hearted women, but when Someone that speaks and believes the way that she does towards topics such as this. The bible teaches us that that person is not truly saved by Jesus Christ, or is an infant in their walk with christ and needs to be helped and guided by someone that teaches the true gospel. That is why we hear her saying in this segment and in other older segments as well, that she feels no conviction. She does not feel conviction from the holy spirit towards topics such as this one . Now I think she truly believes that she is a saved Christian, but someone that has been saved would not twist what God clearly says in his word or accept the worldly views to save their social status, and life style.We either accept God's views and truths or we don't. None the less it is a decision that needs to be made. There is not middle ground with God.

Hi Adrienne, I really wish I could write to you directly, but God’s holy word is for all to hear and to respond. I pray that you and your hubby (sorry I can’t spell his name) would really study God’s word well and really understand the character and nature of who God is. Yes loving and merciful but also just and pure! and will one day judge the world with his wrath because he is a just judge!
I pray that you would have a relationship that grows in Christ and bares fruit like the marks of a Christian = (Christ follower/ambassador) God being your root and foundation. Like in the parable of the seeds in Mark chapter 4. Then would you be able to stand separate from this world and stand out like the light and salt that his people are. The topic of homosexuality is very clear in the bible. As Christians the bible is our blueprint to life.
You mentioned Leviticus out of context in your segment. Leviticus chapter 11 lists the dietary restrictions God gave to the nation of Israel. The dietary laws included prohibitions against eating pork, shrimp, shellfish and many types of seafood, most insects, scavenger birds, and various other animals. The dietary rules were never intended to apply to anyone other than the Israelites.
The purpose of the food laws was to make the Israelites distinct from all other nations. After this purpose had ended, Jesus declared all foods clean (Mark 7:19). God gave the apostle Peter a vision in which He declared that formerly unclean animals could be eaten: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” (Acts 10:15). When Jesus died on the cross, He fulfilled the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:15). This includes the laws regarding clean and unclean foods.
The above is also known as the mosaic law this was in the Old Testament and prior to Christ’s coming because the whole purpose of the law was to point to a perfect and holy saviour, Jesus. He is and was the only one that could fulfil the law. Revealing to humanity that no one can keep the Law but everyone falls short of God’s standard of holiness. That’s why the Israelites kept failing and God provided forgiveness through sacrifice and offerings for those that had faith, but those that didn’t were put to death!
This realisation causes us to rely on God’s mercy and grace. When Christ came, He fulfilled the Law and with His death paid the penalty for our breaking it (Galatians 3:24; Romans 10:4). By faith in Him, the believer has the very righteousness of Christ imputed to him.
Please read Romans your jaw will drop but it’s all truth. We may not like it but it’s actually a reflection of us as sinful humans, that sin word again, but that’s the whole point. It’s OUR sin. Homosexuality is also a sin. Not to single it out but it’s all sin against God.
For example in Romans chapter 1 from verse 24
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

I like what you say. A lot of "Christians" who refer to the old testament and quote it literally. Often fail to acknowledge the the old testament is copy and past from Hebrew Jewish scripture. The old testament is literally the tora. This is because Jesus's was Jewish and in order to know Jesus we have to understand the Jewish teachings.
The old testament for us Christians was never meant for use to be read and followed literally. The old testament is made of some factual stories such as the the story of Moses. But the majority is made up of parables. Which meals moral based stories. The stories are in there to teach us "right" and "wrong" as Christians we follow the new testament that is Christian scripture that was written many many years later by st Peter when he was spreading the word of God.

I really liked what the had to say about the lgbtq+. The thing that gets me about people who are trying to pass these laws is that it does not affect their lives at all if a man/woman marries another man/woman. It is none of their business who someone else chooses to love and it in no way reflects on their views or beliefs unless they are the ones doing it. They can try to stop them from getting married, but that's not gonna stop them from being who they are and loving who they want. This is a free nation NOT a dictatorship. I must say that I am very curious as to why same sex couples would want marriage. Usually marriages are done under religious ceremonies (it’s basically a contract between the couple and god), and all religions disagrees with same sex relationships, so what is the point, doesn’t it defeat the purpose of what a marriage Union is.
If I was in a same sex relationship I probably wouldn’t want to get married because of that reason.

That is a gross disservice and miss characterization of Christians all over the country and the world actually and throughout history who have adhered to Biblical marriage and sexuality. No legit and genuine Christian seriously believes that God hates homosexuals because of their sexual inclinations, however the accurate view that most Christians hold is that God doesn’t approve of all of our decisions and behaviours. Can it be totally true that they are gay Christians yes absolutely but it depends what you mean by gay though. Do you mean gay as in actively practising homosexual behaviour then no, but if you mean gay as in being same-sex attracted but not acting and indulging in that behaviour because you understand the created purpose of sex then yes. There are plenty actually publicly and well known celibate same-sex attracted Bible believing Christians who have made a very noble and difficult decision to not indulge in those desires. Paul talks about and alludes to those that were slaves to their sin but have been freed through the power of the Holy Spirit in Romans. Adrienne is correct that Christ came and died for all people and through the repentance and the forgiveness and grace of God we can be saved. However, Conflating that with saying that God approves of every behaviour we as human beings indulge in is ludicrous and completely unbiblical. The other thing is you’re assuming that Amy Coney Barrett who has been a revered judge throughout the country for years and I believe decades since she’s been practising cannot rule objectively based on the law and the constitution is so prejudiced. You see the difference between conservative and liberal judges as the conservative judges Interpret the Constitution and the laws as it is written and not how they would like it to be written and say, wow liberal judges are more like activists and interpret the Constitution in the way they would like it and say what they want it to say. That’s the very different philosophies at play here. The lack of self-awareness is so funny to me. Not realizing that you’re describing the same judges that agree with your political persuasion because that’s not a conservative judges do. That’s not what justice Amy Coney Barrett has is and will do in the future. Simply because that’s not her job, she laid this out in the press confirmation hearings on the role of the judge and the judicial when she was being questioned by those sorry excuses for senators.

In all my teaching as a young child, God gave us free will. We had the choice to choose between good and evil. We had the choice to follow him through his word. The Bible gave us a guide to follow if we chose to follow God. He even gave us his Son Jesus as our mentor to show us the way.

The Old Testament is Christ concealed - the New Testament is Christ revealed. We cannot have one without the other. The Bible is a clear demonstration that God is JUST (He will punish the guilty) and that he is also LOVE, as He has provided a Savior for ALL humanity to be cleansed of their sin. All we have to do to receive salvation is believe in Jesus, and repent (turn away) from sin.
That’s not all we have to do you are going to do what Jesus do and he didn’t just believe or tell ppl to believe in order to be cleanse from all sins. He wants us to be conformed in Christ (a representative of god). So don’t just list a verse thinking the rest of Bible doesn’t exist. Every scripture is linked to another scripture every word have a root to it

Now he does have some repetitive narratives in some of the movies but to say that all his movies stereotyping portray black women in a bad light is just untrue. Again I don’t see how this movies alwayssss play into stereotypes that’s just a unfortunate thriller movie story told by dramatics. I could find you a lifetime story or any movie really with the same similar plot line. I mean I get it people do you want to see new material from him because sometimes his stories are redundant/tired. but I don’t think his intention with the stories are to make black women look terrible. But I’m definitely agreeing that new material and new black creators should be used to have other black stories that are told that are new, different and uplifting for the new gen.

That woman ultimately could’ve just had a conversation and communicated her feelings with her husband, he never did she never did. Instead she got caught up in the luxurious lifestyle that she thought she wanted she didn’t get to really know that man cheated on her husband and then got beat up and started doing drugs with him. And then in the end found it he had HIV which is an unfortunate hell. But sometimes that’s just what can happen when you don’t take the time to really think things through. I mean we do have a high divorce rate in America so I just think it’s all about your interpretation.

I've seen people say God hates the sin but not the sinner but I can't differentiate the two because "being gay" is who I am. I struggle at almost 31 years old with it because I've been told almost my entire life that it was a simple choice that I could change when I wanted to. It broke me and I'm broken today. All I know is depression now.

I’m honestly so damn tired of this discussion... I don’t understand why people have such an issue with people apart of LGBTQ ... I am a proud ally of the LGBTQ community and it hurts me cuz I have friends and family who are apart of that community and they are such good people and don’t “ push an agenda” or try to make it a thing... they just let it known and want to be respected! It is not up to me to tell somebody where they can be , what they can do , who they can be... cuz it doesn’t affect me and I don’t walk in their shoes or have the place to tell them... She brought about the situation in Leviticus and the old law which is a common forest issue in response to The issue of homosexuality and biblical sexuality. See this is where the biblical theology is so important because that something that shows me that she didn’t do any relevant research. It’s made very clear that the old law which is where Leviticus numbers Deuteronomy are for the Israelites and not for us. The civil, Dietary laws were for the Israelite covenant people. We as Christians are no longer under the old covenant and the old laws with the exception of the moral law which are still repeated in the New Testament which is why we know that it’s still relevant. Paul talks about this in Romans and makes it very clear that the law cannot justify our flesh rather it’s by the grace and faith in Jesus Christ that makes us righteous in the eyes of God. There’s a part in Leviticus that talks about homosexuality is under the moral law and again it’s reiterated in the New Testament again. This needs to be understood and it’s sad to see. A lot of blame can be put on the church for not teaching proper biblical theology so I don’t want to say that I told you on them however you are grown adults at this point and have been here and have all the resources possible to educate yourself on biblical theology. In the New Testament and throughout the Old Testament is well idea of sexual immorality which includes homosexuality as well as talked about a lot as being a saint this is not a new concept. Jesus came down this constantly when he talked about sexual immorality. there are a lot of people that are going to take you at your word and not know a thing of what you’re talking about. You talked about love and the thing is that you’re using the same word but two different meanings. Biblical love is one that rejoices in truth that’s in Corinthians 13. God is a God of love it’s also a God of truth. Again you would understand this if you had a biblical worldview and understand biblical theology both it is quite evident you have neither. I have this problem with all of the girls except for tomorrow which I’m really sad to see you go. Tamara for the most part when she did talk about Christianity stayed True to biblical stances on things to the best of her ability with the exception of some cultural misconceptions. While I don’t think it’s my place to question any of the girls salvation, it is very much within the field to say that none of them now have and hold biblical worldviews. With the exception of Tamara who I do very much believe is actively seeking to be faithful to scripture and hall. I don’t believe any of the girls mean harm and don’t have good intentions however good intentions alone aren’t what constitute biblical truth. Finally I will say this, I just think the girls need to stop talking about Christianity in relation to these culture issues when they don’t understand biblical theology because one it’s not accurate, too because it’s so alienating too many of people who do have a biblical worldview and watch their show.

@@yahgirl1726 she looked like my family. A lot of the time the only room movies and shows had for latinas was specifically reserved for Mexican women. No shade but, I feel that Mexican culture is more accepted and then promoted like they are the only type of Latina.

The comments on here show how people are more “fanatics” of the Bible that actual practitioners of the Gospel. It’s sad that myself as a young child had to endure pastors shove a bible in my head and quote bible verses that neglected Gods love for me. “God loves you but hates who you are all at the same time”. Adrianne reminds me of Christian woman who literally saved me from committing suicide, who sat me down and explained to me the difference between being a dictator and a Christian. She showed me how to love God and seek guidance and to never stray from his grace. TO THIS DAY I’ve never felt neglected you God. I know he loves me and he’s protecting me.
KYLE VALLE CRUZ I have a genuine question love. (Pls don’t see it as an attack.) Fornication (sex outside of marriage) is also a sin.As a single woman I know that if I were to engage in fornication I’d be sinning against God (and myself, by the way - sexual sins are unique because they are sins against our own bodies according to the bible). It’s not natural for me to be celibate (at all lol), but I do it out of love for God knowing that if I fornicate I will only be hurting God and myself. How is this different from abstaining from homosexuality? Lots of Christians are attracted to people of the same gender and have chosen not to engage in it for similar reasons.
