Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

Not gonna lie. I wasn't expecting much from Calyrex based on its appearance. But now it's one of the most endearing and badass Pokémon in history to me. You quite literally form a bond with it too.
This DLC proves to me that GameFreak hasn’t lost their touch just yet. The plot line for Calyrex blows the base game out of the water.

I love how calm but empty calyrex's theme feels alone, and how chaotic and uncontrolled the horses' are when alone too, and I especially love how good they are together, they literally compliment each other and make two halves feel actually whole!

It says a lot about Calyrex that it's willing to wait for its horse to come back (with a little help from a carrot) rather than fuse with it again by force. Jumping on the horse's back to attach the Reins of Unity was only part of it; once Calyrex reminded Glastrier/Spectrier who it was, then the horse chose to work with it again.
And a longer cape.

@@mulberrytea549 you must be an idiot. That quest has the foot prints respawn so it shouldn't even be that difficult. It's not like the 150 diglets in the isle of armor.
That thing is also a side quest, it's not needed for the story in the dlc, nor to unlock the star tournament. So calm the frick down and use your brain, if you have one.

@@sayvionwashington1939 Sounds likely...and yet still less intimidating than the neighs, maybe King's Judgement or whatever it's signature move is raises attack/sp attack instead if it makes an opponent faint in addition to shifting types based on plate to compensate

Gosh this song always gives me chills and brings tears to my eyes at how powerful it is... The setting of a long forgotten King finally reuinting with his steed and silently challenging his knight to a final battle before moving on. The setting of the old abandoned castle. It's so tragic and beautiful!

I feel like the concept is genius but the execution is flawed. The horses just don't really feel like pokemon just regular horses with dye and cosmetics
@@SpinEnjoyer I disagree. I found the horses really cool on their own and feel they fit fine amongst the other "normal animal" pokemon like Pyroar or Noctowl

@@SpinEnjoyer I don't really see a reason as to why legendaries would have a different design philosophy as opposed to regular mons; then again I've never found legendaries to be to special or different from regular mons to begin with so that may just be my bias
Its basically a mix of calyrex and the legendary horse's theme. I love it.

The concept of a horse-riding Pokémon is weird and ingenious at the same time.
Kind like how a Shellder and Slowpoke became a Slowbro/Slowking?
I like how the “fusion” is more metaphorical than literal. Not only is it a nice change of pace from the two more literal fusions we already had, but like you said, a horse riding Pokémon is an amazing idea that surprisingly hasn’t been done before!

Well he is a king that rides his noble steed, so of course he suppose to ride on it and with him having two abilities at the same time is really cool to me.
The first Pokémon in the entire video game history who not only communicates with you in human speech but is also arguably a minor Protagonist who you help in their biggest hour of need. And it just so happens that it is one of the VERY select few Pokémon who can fuse with other Pokémon tied to it's existence. And said fusions are perhaps some of the MOST BROKENLY POWERFUL POKÉMON IN EXISTENCE!!! Either Death by the ultimate HailRoom physical Tank or the ultimate Hyper Offense Special Glass Cannon. And the real life lore around a Rabbit/deer and two dangerous and highly aggressive magical horses in the real world equivalent of the Galar Region's Crown Tundra is PERFECT. It just goes to show you that we truly are in a different new era where every possible bit of research and Connections to the real world are made when creating the countless Pokémon from around Gen 5 onwards. Even the weird or contraversiely designed ones.
Thank you GameFreak, for making the right choice with the Isle Of Armor and Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield. I think it's safe to say that things can only improve from here on out. Pokémon is finally evolving again.
Honestly one of my favorite legendaries. Its 2 different weak legendaries combined into one convincing stats, abilities, type, and moves. Plus it has a pretty cool story behind it. I love how this Pokemon feels like an actual character ITS SO COOL!!!
Finally, a legendary with character development! Our battle will be *legendary!*
I’m not huge on this particular pokemon…but this theme IS very fitting to the side story and character. It just SCREAMS ‘His Royal Majesty and his Loyal Steed’.
Calyrex arguably has a better final boss buildup than Eternatus, and that's saying something.
I know how much people hate the base game of sword and shield, and in many ways, it's a lot like Kirby Star Allies. Both games had "meh" base content with good visuals and music, but the added-on stuff was HOT FIRE!
yeah recent pokemon games have become like recent sonic games, in that, the quality can sometimes be less than stellar but the music will always be fire
After I watched a few "new move demonstration" videos, Calyrex is either a lance knight or a lich/mage depending on the horse.
-If you choose the Ice horse,the signature attack is like an ice lance/spear thrown at the enemy. Making Calyrex a knight like king.
-but if you choose the ghost horse,his attack is like summoning souls to throw at the enemy. Making Calyrex a mage/lich king

Theme of "fuck that Imma use the master ball"
I have not followed Pokémon closely since Sun and Moon, but these Pokémon and Calyrex are absolutely amazing!! Glastrier looks so much like the Fakemon I designed as a kid (based on a tiny toy unicorn I had) and Calyrex with its status as an almost forgotten deity that lost its influence shares a backstory with a favourite OC of mine that I also created as a pre-teen (I am 24 now). I think it is so cool and I LOVE these Pokémon for the coincidence.

Calyrex has already earned a place in my Top 3 legendaries of all time.
The design-say what you will, but I love all five, horses included. The story and interaction with the player. The "sovereign and steed" motif that seem to work like some form of symbiosis rather than a straight-up fusion. The regal and intense themes that even work when combined together. I can't find a single thing about this whole quest and "set of Pokémon" I didn't like.
I will say, however, that I like the "Spectrier" side a little more.
I love how well they blended both themes.

edit: Just calc'd and you nearly get 3 shot if you're max special defense which I'm going to guess you're not.

I like how overall the legendary Pokemon in this game specific to Galar fit the Arthurian mythos really well.
After the Volcarona died, that combination of calyrex and spectrier will have definitely swept the team.

I really love this DLC. They did an outstanding job with this one
Did they? Personally, it feels more half assed than Isle of Armour. The entire dlc is just catching legendary pokemon. WHich means the majority of your time is taken up by sitting there hoping of your balls works on the legendary your fighting so you can move on to the next one, so you can start over. It's really boring. Only the Max Lair had any thought put into it. And how many times do you even get a chance to try out your shiny 'new' toys? Cause I only counted 2 fight throughout the whole crown tundra against actual enemy trainers, including an optional one. One of the new characters also essentially is tossed to the side almost as soon as they are introduced and completely forgotten about. The horses have god awful oc-like designs. What is there to like about Crown Tundra, let alone to think they did an outstanding job?

Alright fair fair but one question, what is your favorite and least favorite part of this dlc and this game
@@zabz955 My favourite part would be the Max Lair. I think it's surprisingly fun to try to get through with Pokemon I normally wouldn't even look at when playing. As for the worst part, I'd probably say hunting down all the legendary Pokemon. You have to find this legendary entity of untold power, and yet you have to be careful and delicate when attacking it, out of fear of accidentally knocking it out.
And then, once you've gotten it at the acceptable health threshold, you have to just sit there throwing ball after ball hoping one of them works. And as I said previously, after that, you gotta start over for so many of them. It's just so tiresome and boring, which is why I appreciate the 100% catch rate of the legendary Pokemon in the Max Lair.
All the other Pokémon legendaries: “I am very overpowers and strong. Fear me or dieeee.”
Calyrex: “Heheh horse go munch carrot carrot go bye bye horse say hi hi”

@@aubreyholdinggun Mega evolution had its ups and downs. Downs? Mega kangaskhan existed. Ups? All the irrelevant Pokemon that became viable, like Mawile and Beedrill.

Calyrex is one of my new fav legendary pokemon. You get to talk and interact with it and explore a new legendary lure (the steeds)! That's all I wanted!!!

I really love the way they made its battle theme like the United Kingdom’s royal knights and fellow soldiers are going to war. The best part would be that Calyrex is their King leader 👑 ⚔️ 🛡 🇬🇧
I might like the first Calyrex theme slightly more, but I am obsessed with the drums in this version!! (starting around 0:58 seconds and 2:04) They're just so amazing!! 🤍

i do like how this theme is a combination of Calyrex and Spectrier/Glastrier's theme. shows how you're fighting something both regal and powerful (to me at least)

its meh considering that one of the abilites is intentionally useless so unnerve can just be ignored really. however its still iconic

This time I chose Glastrier to by Calyrex’s steed. Last time I chose Spectrier. I was just going for some difference.
Who else initially thought Calyrex's body type was gonna be completely different from what we actually got? XD

My guess is it will be similar to how they handled Cosmog evolving into solgaleo and lunala in SM but who knows
@@DaGrubb97 who knows though, but I'm excited how Calyrex will play in both manga and anime. Since Calyrex was the true king of Galar, maybe it'll be portrayed more important than Zacian and Zamazenta. In the manga and anime, Zygarde was given a huge role.

This theme gives me PTSD of the 50 resets it took to catch it because my team was level 100 and kept killing him in a single hit
I like how this music is a mix of the two
Apparently his moves are random like any wild Pokemon; he kept using Astral Barrage on my Cinccino. Still needed to make a strategy with Focus Sash Shiinotic.

Referee: (takes the SmackDown Women's championship from the Grand WWE Champion, raises it in the air and motions for the bell.) Ring the bell.
*bell rings, signaling the match's beginning*
Michael: I wonder if Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks are both beginning to have second thoughts about this, given what they’re now up against.
Corey: I’m thinking so.

Fuse? Both Necrozma and Kyurem absorb those other two. But I get what you mean. Its funny, pokemon fusions seem more metaphorical than literal- excluding absorption. Like Calyrex here or Slowpoke with Shellders.
Necrozma doesn't absorb them, more like takes over like a parasite like in the anime.
@@aa-dn9ik Kyurem is the original dragon that was split in three , it's just resembling itself not actually fusing, and necrozma takes over solgaleo and lunala to steal their light and regain it's light form, pokemon never fuse it's called fusion for simplicity.
But I gotta admit the union between Calyrex and the horse's gives out an ability that combines their individual ones, too bad Calyrex just had to have a useless one.

I like how he felt like an actual character in the story, made the final battle even more intense and dramatic, really liked this legendary.
