This is less of a recipe and more of a technique. Really you’ve just been shown an unlimited number of “recipes”. Take your protein for the meal and sear it. Don’t be afraid to get a nice golden crust. Take whatever it is out and make a pan sauce of…what we like to call in the cooking biz…”anything you like”. One night it might be chicken with your favorite salsa, the next night it might be a steak with shallots, blue cheese and red wine…literally whatever moves you, no rules. Return the protein to the pan, bring to boil, reduce to simmer. While that works make some rice or roast some veg. When the internal temp of the protein gets to where you want it (use a thermometer), plate it up! Pro tips: These quick pan sauces tend to lack depth of flavor, so focus on upping the umami factor. Mushrooms, tomato paste, anchovies, chicken livers…there are many umami bombs to choose from. Add acidity with vinegar or lemon juice or whatever. Finish with fresh herbs you have on hand for that hit of freshness. You’ll think you died and came back as Julia Child.

The preparation is excellent. Me I crush my garlic less mushrooms or use cream of musroom soup. But I add maybe a tablespoon of flour for gravy. Some of family members do breathlizer testing and mushroom can give you positive. Erma

Pero sin duda creo que es excesivo el nivel de detalle , no creo necesario mostrar como corta cada una de las hortalizas , sinceramente hace el video demasiado largo y aburrido ; espero que no le parezca ofensivo mi comentario ya que no es esa mi intención. Too much salt when cooking onions! Always check your seasoning towards the end of the cook. Forget the dried herbs. Use a sprig each of rosemary and two sprigs of thyme with the onion snd add finely chopped parsley at the end.

Tip. Do the potatoes in the oven first. The way shown here those potatoes will never be cooked and the onions and peppers would be reduced to nothing.
