Passed you in Richmond Indiana earlier, figured I’d check your channel out. I’ve often thought about going to prime. Just never made the jump. Did OTR for 8 years and been local for 2 years. It’s hard to go back OTR lol

Hello saw you on the NJ turnpike earlier
I gave ya a air horn honk lol
🙌
if you're leasing wouldn't that make you an independent contractor and far, far removed from any employer/employee relationship? how hard would it be to run under your own authority? lowa is real helpful for setting that up and all you need to do is set up residency on the other side of the Mississippi
Yeah you would
I worked for prime for 2 in a half years they are deff a great company i can vouch for that one i just wanted more flexibility as far as hometime goes and i live in Florida so i left deff miss them tho
trucking used to be fun with a manual transmission. Auto-shifts make a boring. Looks like you have perfect match for a company. Is it against company policy to record while truck is in motion? Not trying to get ya in trouble but just wondered.
Yeahhhh
Kum And Go has the best pizzas.
if not private how much do they get per mile or do you earn as a percentage in prime inc mr. ?
I’m sure some of the trucks at the end that you showed us somebody had to have died
Prime. Please remember I'm Missouri educated.
All you haters complaining about the rate. They finance you a truck regardless of your credit history and you get to own it 100% after three years. They also start you off by giving you a fuel card. It’s not a bad deal if you ask me.
The company I was at for 5 years, I didn’t have a choice we were forced dispatch, of course they said they didn’t play that game, but you know they did
Rex do keep detailed info on your runs? Miles, fuel, expenses, etc. for taxes and profit/loss. Your you own company correct?
I use abacus CPA’s to handle my profit/loss records etc. every month I fill out a monthly cash expense record and scan it to them. Things I pay for out of pocket like parking fees, laundry, showers, windshield washer fluid, work clothes, boots, shoes etc… hope this helps! 🤞🙏
Can you post more often 😢
😎👍

@@Marbo5252 i feel that in my soul brotha man
@@slonetruckingtvyea I get you
It costs me $2.50 a mile to run.
So as a Lease driver do you think there's any profit to get $2.02 Per mile based on $2845.51 1404 MIles? Maybe am missing something thanks :)
If someone is lease at Prime and can't make a profit from $1.50 a mile maybe they shouldn't be doing lease. I just left Prime but the company makes it very easy to make money. Everyone that has failed at it wanted to fail.
@@LiLConnerPeterson so $1 per mile goes into the fuel tank.. then you have truck payment and insurance. Where is the money for the profit?
@@aedryk lmfao a dollar per mile? 🤣
@aedryk Plus not every load pays low. I've driven long enough to know that you can make money at Prime no matter the market. I just Prime to be home more cause f**k that otr life. I enjoy being home too much.
@@TermitesRGood1 oh boy 😖
You're pulling a tank for $2 a mile and making money?
Yes, my operating cost is $1.43 per mile. Prime gets HUGE fuel discounts! Go slow make more dough! So I’m putting $1.07 in my pocket per mile YTD
No es bueno
2 dollars a mile, your loosing money.
Made 105000 after all expenses so $2 a mile is awesome.
Compared to company drivers making.70cents a mile $2 it's good money but it's definitely not what could be made the most I don't understand why they can't pay lease drivers better because they're making the money.👍🇺🇸
2$ a mile when you are lease is dog shit man......
So making 100k plus after expenses is dog shit money????
