This video was very interesting....I have a few questions about Trucking (the business side)...
1) I know you have a fuel card through Prime Inc., how does the fuel work when you fuel up your truck, do you pay out of pocket and write it off or Prime covers it?
2) How does insurance for you and your truck work as per your LLC?
3) Who pays for your additives, coolant, windshield wash fluid, oil, oil changes etc?
4) What does DOT stand for?

My 23 freightliner broke done for 3 weeks. As a company driver on a fleet truck O/o get no break down pay and company drivers get $75 a day for break down.

Just wondering what your average day is like? How many hours doing everything. What constitutes hours of service? During your stops when they say it's 2 hours to before is done. Can you nap so can drive longer hours.. I've seen others saying companies push to get you to the destination quicker than hours permit or average speed would allow.

Usually I restock when I take home time, sometimes I hit up Walmart OTR when I’m bobtail after I’ve dropped a trailer at a receiver.
Does Prime take repairs out of your settlement? Or is it out of pocket?

wish freightshakers had a upgraded suspension system. I wonder how much more reliable the frieghtliners are compared to petes and internationals
You can add keyless entry for $200, also you can upgrade the suspension for $2000. I went with the base model so no out of pocket cost for me. I only added my company decals for $220. You can upgrade to digital dash, sound system, seats etc…. All out of pocket cost non refundable.

Honestly I’m not worried because a self driving truck can’t unload my trailer 🤙💯 if they take over I’ll become a mechanic 😂

I’m OTR on the inedible side but mostly run the Midwest. Out 10-14 days then home for 2
