A very nice usable mi2 rs2000 , Presents very well with nice fitting panels and a high gloss paint finish For more pictures please visit Www.Paullinfootracing.co.Uk
I owned one of these in the 80's WOI 4040 was the Reg. Same interior ... Was followed and pulled in by the Police one night ... thought id done something wrong ... large burly policemen came up to my window, stuck his head in and said "I'm buying this car!" ... only car I ever made money on!
oh you got something worth a lot of money there and honestly presented very good to see. well done sir. Allowing comments too not like the big dealers.
nice usable classic, not a trailer queen, plenty to tinker with on the weekend [if you wanted to] my V reg fester was nordic blue, i wonder if i had ever polished it, would it of been the same colour... the mk2 copper cars were that colour as well, yup, looked at plenty through my mirror...
Nice colour i had a P reg 75/76 Escort in that colour although it was only a ex Police 1.1 popular plus so not as exciting but still looked the part after I put Chrome Wolfrace wheels on it.
Looks like Rivera blue and looks stunning although the radiator cowl panel looks a little bit sketchy as they usually have a rounded edged cut out so the rad sits further forwards and the overflow pipe drops down the side whereas the edges of this one are just flat straight and no curved cut out..!! Still a nice looking custom with chocolate interior and looks really honest tbf
My Dad had one in 1979 for about 3 yrs got stolen 7 times. Twice in one day . What a car though . Last time it was nicked got it back all that was left was chasis on bricks .
Class, friend has one and a moredoor I prefer the front on it compared to a rs2000. Impossible not to love it but I do love the other front grill ect myself.
@@maxtheSax8 i must be mistaken, its been a few years since ive tampered with alloy sumps, world cup cross members, and twin 44 idf,s my memory must be failing me
That wasn’t in north London was it as I brought one for a grand around that time had it for a year then sold it for a grand as the bird I was seeing didn’t like it gutted now
I think I would rather, for £26k have a brand new Hyundai i20N. It's going to be more fun to drive. Far faster and better brakes and handling. When you take that in on 3rd year for service. It'll still probably have warranty and they'll even change any light bulbs you need doing. Unlikely as a weekend car you'll have any other problems You'll get a good deal on HP/PCP so you don't even have to lay out too much money. My mate had one of these RS2000s when nearer new and it wasn't any good in even the 90's. His Renault 5 GT turbo was a far better car
@@cogboy302 I went to the Ford testing site at Dunton, Essex, when I was at college. And even in 1990 things had moved on well past this car. I think the RS2000 of even that era had a 2 litre fuel injected, 16 valve engine Would this car do much over 100? Maybe get to 105mph?
Thank you for your totally pointless replies comparing a new car to a 40 year old classic car , maybe you should audition for the next top gear presenter , NOT ,
@@Nonegiven14582 , I had a Mk2 RS2000 in the early noughties which was built for fast road/track use. It was quick, raw and fun. Plus it probably weighed under 900kg. If I ever found myself wanting a Hyundai i20N I'd climb something tall and jump off it. Horses for courses. Maybe you should go for a Nissan Leaf instead.
Trust me i get plenty of daft questions , but funny they always seem to come from people who text / message / email , those who call seem to be much more sensible people . been doing this a long time now and only deal with people who ring me now .

My dad was given a brand new one as a company car in 1977 i absolutely loved it
I have never seen a RS2000 in that colour before, but I must admit it looks nice.

The one paul Woodford drove in his video :)

If it's a V reg I expect it to be Nordic Blue, a bit lighter than Riveria Blue.
Looks nice.

Old Ford had amazing paint colours not just gray like you see now
Don’t forget the new trend of non specific beige
@@dinkydaz6711 My pal had a beige rs2000 in dagenham, he rolled it and still drove it about with the roof all caved in
It's about time you employed a bonnet lifter!
Door gaps were all over the place when it came out the factory

Best colour is white🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧
It's a ❤️❤️ beaut!
Tidy enough, leaving all the options available for the new owner.
Sweet RS
Pity about the silly glass sunroof would put me off
That is reflected in the asking price , but really , does it matter ? it was what people did in the 80s and 90s
To preserve the future value no glass sunroof even realistic price doesn't matter
Bathroom blue.....does that mean you have to be flushed to buy it 😅
😂😂 nice one
No it’s cheap , so it must be budgie blue 😅
