- Hi guys, in todays episode we finally got to get our upgrade in our mighty D-Max! Jeremy and his team at Lovells Campbelltown NSW were able to hook us up with something we have been waiting for, for what feels like forever..
We show you part 1 of our Lovells GVM & GCM upgrade on our 2022 D-Max. We were super lucky to be able to film in the factory, and show you guys how good Rob is at installing on the mighty rig!

What’s roof height once u got upgrade. We are looking at buying x terrain dmax next year and getting it done pre rego as we are looking at getting a JB sting air
They can do different heights depending on choice and ride style. We are slightly higher in the rear due to full time towing, but someone not towing wouldn't opt for this option. They differ, id ask them for their opinion based on your setup. Canopy and tray also is heavier than a tub which changes your ride height, along with wheel size too. Looks to look into!

We believe it would be capable as long as you take it easy, lower tyre pressures & drive to conditions. The only thing that might let us down is our vans clearance, but you can modify the suspension at factory to be bigger/stronger and this would increase your clearance. Also have seen people put airbags in their vans aftermarket which looks pretty cool too.

Was such a cool experience be able to see how the mechanics complete the upgrade, and we were stoked to be able to film it! We are uploading part 2 next Sunday where we break down costs and why we got it done, and also why we chose Lovells for the upgrade. So you will have to wait till next week sorry Frank!

When you outline the cost can you please confirm what was actually done as there was no commentary at all just time lapsed filming and it appears you also had a trans cooler installed (or at least upgraded but I could be wrong) so be good to understand the items fitted. Re the cost when you outline the cost would you mind confirming if sponsored as it is important to understand why this brand was chosen. Thanks
Yeh of course, we are more than happy to include all the above details. We thought it be better to do a seperate video with all the details, and one of us having the upgrade completed. Lovells haven’t sponsored us to use their product, this was completely our choice to use Lovells however they did look after us price wise. Will explain in more depth next episode, so make sure you are subscribed to the channel so you don’t miss out on the video.

Yep, both our gvm & gcm have been increased.
