Tech Parental Im having trouble with my marco pollo. When i watch my friends videos it says (privacy mode on move the phone away from your ear to turn it off.The sound is coming from the earpiece.) and i want to know what does it mean by that?? Please help!!
+Ricky Potter it seems like there may be a problem with your proximity monitor. This feature is designed for you to listen to your friends messages if you are in a public place and you do not want someone to hear. You can hold the phone up to your ear and the sound comes through the earpiece but once you pull the phone away the sound will come from the phone's speakers. If your phone is stuck on privacy mode they may be a problem with your proximity sensor and the phone may think that it is up against your ear you may want to check your manufacturers user guide or troubleshoot the phone

What activity generates an “active” status? Does it change as soon as I open the app, or when I record or view and actual video? If I’m just scrolling through old videos, will it show me as active?
Question:.there are a few people in my Marco Polo contact list who are not on my device. I don't have their numbers in my phone. How is this so? And what can they see?

I have a blocked person in my contacts and they have Marco Polo and they sent me a Marco Polo and I blocked them but I see them in my list of chats how can I delete them from appearing in my Marco Polo chats ?
What if there is no active status below the other person's name? It's just blank.

How do I recover deleted videos
I emailed Joya communications (who developed the app) and they stated that when the "Active" status shows that it means they are active on Marco Polo, not just your conversation only as this video states. Can anyone verify which one is correct?

I’ve had a few people added to my Marco Polo that I have never heard of. They aren’t in my contacts or anything. How is this possible? And how do I know that it isn’t happening to me? I don’t want to be added to other people’s accounts!
+Stacey B what's probably happening is that your friends in your contact list have changed their numbers. The new person with ur old friends number is showing up as your contact and u don't recognize them.
Does anyone know how to get banned on this app because my dad won’t stop using it and it’s getting really annoying

Apparently, the active status shows up for a user when they are on the app in general and not necessarily when they've been in our shared conversation. Is that possible? I see that they are active, but I know they're not in our shared conversation.
When I delete Polos, I get a notice that they are on a server. I don't want my private conversations on a server somewhere. How can I delete those polos?
no matter what it is, everything on the internet ever is on a server. it doesn't mean it's saved no one will be able to view it

When I am viewing a video, that icon bar is very annoying. Is there any way to get rid of that bar til I want to give a thumbs upm show some love, send prayer hands or a smiling emoji????
