Yo yo ! I’m not sure if there’s a single parent that wouldn’t appreciate Meek’s question @ 4:37. Hope that time stamped it correctly. I think there’s something to say about the correlation between being a good role model & discipline (well, lack thereof). Cassius had mentioned the modern challenges of being able to discipline your kid like our parents did. I think there’s something to say about how we, especially men of color, are going to need to demonstrate some aspect of modeling aka, being that nigga for our kids, especially young boys. I think it’s safe to say, we as kids knew who we did and did not want to be like - that also came with how we responded to adults. Educators see it in the classroom every day. I’d say “setting the example” is going to be something that our children, especially our young boys, are going to want to naturally want to follow, respect, and ultimately respond well to.

Leading by example is most effective‼️ Trying to get away from “do as I say, not as I do”
